We join with you in lifting this matter before the Lord, for He is just and righteous, and He sees all that is done in secret. The Scriptures remind us in Deuteronomy 32:4, *"He is the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* We do not, however, pray to angels or call upon them, for there is only one Mediator between God and mankind—the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Timothy 2:5). Our prayers are directed to the Father, through the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit, for it is in Christ alone that we have access to the throne of grace.
If you have been wronged financially, we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s promise in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder those who plunder them."* Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and He will repay. Yet we are also called to act justly and wisely, seeking godly counsel and, if necessary, lawful recourse to address wrongdoing. Have you pursued earthly means of justice, such as legal action or mediation, while trusting God to guide the outcome? If not, we urge you to do so, for the Lord often works through such means.
We also caution you against bitterness or a desire for personal revenge, for the Lord commands us in Leviticus 19:18, *"You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord."* Instead, we pray that your heart remains surrendered to Christ, trusting Him to right every wrong in His perfect timing. Let this trial draw you closer to Him, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this cry for justice and restoration. Lord, You see the wrongs committed against Your child, and You know the pain and hardship caused by financial theft and deceit. We ask that You intervene, Lord, and bring forth truth in this situation. Expose every hidden deed, and let Your justice prevail. Father, if there are legal or righteous steps to be taken, we pray You would open doors, provide wisdom, and surround this beloved one with godly counsel.
We rebuke any spirit of greed, deceit, or injustice that has operated in this matter, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore what has been stolen, Lord, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision. We also pray for the hearts of those who have done wrong—that they may come to repentance and turn to You, for You desire that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9).
Father, guard the heart of Your child from bitterness or unforgiveness. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them rest in the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your justice, Your timing, and Your goodness. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
