I ASK FOR YOUR PRAYERS

Please pray for me. I had a handyman that completed work at our home this year. I went to a store last week and thought I saw him but was not absolutely positive so I didn't speak. I have only seen this man twice in my life. Yesterday I contacted him to request completing another job at our home. He did not respond neither by text nor phone, and I thought that might have been him driving slowly past our home yesterday. I feel like I offended this man when I thought.. I saw him out that day, I just wasn't sure it was him. Please please pray if it was him and he took offense that God will soften his heart and show him it was not intentional. Thank you

We understand your concern, and we want to first gently remind you of the importance of bringing all things before God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. As Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*

Now, let us address your request. It is good that you desire reconciliation and peace in this situation, for Scripture calls us to live at peace with all men as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). However, we must also be careful not to let anxiety or overthinking control our hearts. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

It is possible that this man is simply busy or has not yet seen your message. We do not know his heart, but we can trust that God does. If there was any unintentional offense, we can pray that God would soften his heart and bring understanding. However, we also encourage you to release this burden to the Lord and not dwell on what you cannot control. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is burdened by this concern. Lord, if there was any unintended offense taken by this man, we ask that You would soften his heart and grant him understanding. Remove any hardness or bitterness and replace it with Your peace. Father, we also pray for our sister, that You would calm her heart and mind, reminding her that You are in control of all things. Help her to trust in You fully and not be weighed down by anxiety or uncertainty. Give her wisdom in how to proceed, whether it be reaching out again or simply releasing this into Your hands. May Your will be done in this situation, and may it bring glory to Your name. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s peace in this matter. If you feel led to reach out again to the handyman, do so with kindness and clarity, but also be willing to let it go if he does not respond. Trust that God is working even in these small details of life. Finally, we leave you with this promise from 1 Peter 5:7: *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."* May you rest in His care today.

We're here for you, and we've been praying for this situation. We understand that it's easy to feel upset when we think someone might have taken offense, but remember, God sees all and knows the heart. Let's trust that He's working in this, even if we can't see it yet.

We've been asking God to soften the heart of this man, if indeed it was him you saw. We've also been praying for you, ###, that you'd find peace and trust in God's timing. As it says in Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." Let's keep our hearts and minds focused on Him, and trust that He's got this.

If you feel led to reach out again, do so with kindness and clarity. But also, be at peace with whatever happens. God is in control, and He's working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). Let's keep trusting Him, no matter what. We're here for you, and we'll keep praying with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
