Hello,

I am assuming you are a gentleman, so I will pray with that in mind =)

Heavenly Father,

I ask right now that you minister to my brother Abba. Father, I first of all ask that you send ministering friends to him. Father, I am going to ask that you point my brother to the root of the addictive attraction. Father, fill in whatever void in his heart is causing this attraction in the first place. Abba, I ask Father that he will open up to you about the true desires of his heart. Help him Father, to realize that this will not meet his true desires.

Father, if this man is single, I pray that in your timing, you will bring a lovely lady to him.  One he is attracted to. Abba, help my brother to wait in anticipation that you are able to bring him a woman that will blow him out of the park.

Father, if this man is married, I am asking Father that you restore his marriage. I am asking that he will find his wife attractive if he doesn't currently.

Father, either way I am asking that you minister to the deepest desires in this man's heart. Father, I ask that his intimate life if he is married, will be very fulfilling and if he is single, be merciful to him Lord and please send him a mate in your timing.

Father, in Jesus name, I ask that you remove this stronghold from him Father, I ask that you remove the illusion of attraction this presents Father, and quiet this desire in him. Father, give him your spiritual nutrition and help him to see what was once alluring as nothing but the spiritual equivilant of white sugar, no nutritional value. Father, I pray he won't even feel the temptation over time as he submits to you, it will lose power and become less and less alluring.

Father, restore his true identity and masculinity in you Lord. Help his identity not to be shaken by the opinion of men.

Father, fill him so much up with your love and real intimacy (with you and possibly anticipated romantic intimacy in the future) that the counterfeit will no longer hold any weight.

Father, we thank you that he has stepped out to confess this. Abba I ask that you remove all guilt, shame and condemnation. I ask Father that he will plead the blood of Jesus over his mind daily Lord and put on the armor of God daily. Teach him to fight this battle with your armor.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
