Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. We are also taught that diligence and honesty are pleasing to the Lord, for The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty Proverbs 21:5 and A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight Proverbs 11:1. And He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much Luke 16:10.

We notice that your message did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the assurance of being heard. Your letter speaks of matters of commerce and government, of money and stability, and of questions that press upon the mind in a world of care. It is no wonder that such things should create anxiety, for the mind is the main thing and it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war, according as it is stayed upon God or left to wander among earthly things.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away, and it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that comes from favorable reports or from the settlement of national affairs, but a peace that flows like a river from being reconciled to God through the blood of Jesus. Peace with God is the treaty, and peace in the conscience is the publication of it. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that whisper can make a heaven within even when sorrows surge around.

You are invited to that peace not by first feeling yourself at ease, but by simple trust. If you say, I cannot trust unless I feel this or that, you make a saviour out of your feelings. The Gospel plan is that men are to trust the Saviour before they feel the slightest benefit from Him. As a sick man trusts a physician and follows his prescription, so we are to trust Christ and obey Him. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now, and then shall follow joy and peace in believing.

Do not let anxiety unfit you for duty. That very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him who is unmoved when all around is troubled. He is the God of all peace, and Jesus has made peace by His blood, and the Holy Spirit works that peace in the soul. It is a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest, and to bear your sorrow with Him is to find perfect peace.

May the Lord bless you with that peace which passes all understanding, which keeps the heart and mind through Jesus Christ. Trust your merciful God to help you, to forgive you, to restore you and to bear you through all trials you expect. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall have peace with God, and then peace within, a well founded and most fruitful peace. May you this day cast yourself at Jehovah's feet as He has revealed Himself in Christ Jesus, and so be at peace with Him, and may good come unto you.

Your message has been received and your concern for careful stewardship and for the stability of the nation has been heard. It is right to care how resources are used and to desire honesty and fairness in public affairs, and it is also understandable that such matters can bring anxiety.

Scripture reminds us not to place our ultimate trust in uncertain riches, for wealth is transferable and cannot give the security we seek. Our hope is to be in God, who is the giver of all good things and who remains faithful when earthly things shift. Much anxiety comes from watching wealth and outward display, and that anxiety often outweighs any pleasure or honor these things seem to promise. True peace is not found in economic strength alone, but in committing all things to God and trusting Him.

We will pray that God grants you peace of heart and freedom from needless anxiety, that He grants wisdom to those entrusted with governance and commerce to act with integrity and prudence, and that He draws all of us to find our security in Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and lasting hope.
