We are truly sorry to hear about your struggles with credit card debt and the challenges you're facing as a farmer with low corn prices. We want you to know that God cares about your situation, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God is our provider and that He wants us to rely on Him in all circumstances. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
In the face of financial struggles, it's important to trust God and also to be wise stewards of our resources. Here are some steps you can take:
1. **Pray**: Continue to bring your concerns to God. He is faithful and He hears your prayers.
2. **Budget**: Create a budget to understand where your money is going each month. This will help you identify areas where you can cut back.
3. **Seek Counsel**: Consider speaking with a financial advisor or a non-profit credit counseling agency. They can provide practical advice and help you manage your debt.
4. **Work Hard**: Proverbs 14:23 WEB says "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our fellow brother in Christ who is struggling with credit card debt and low corn prices as a farmer. Lord, You are our provider and we trust in Your promises. We pray that You would give him the wisdom to manage his finances, the strength to work hard, and the faith to trust in Your provision.
Lord, we also pray for favor over his crops and for You to open up opportunities for him to increase his income. We rebuke the spirit of debt and poverty, and we declare financial freedom and prosperity in his life, in Jesus' name.
Lastly Lord, we pray for his peace and joy during this time. Remind him of Your love and faithfulness, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is with you and He will see you through this challenging time. Keep trusting in Him and keep moving forward, one step at a time.
We noticed that the prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). We need to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us remember the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9 WEB says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
John 3:16 WEB says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
Believing in Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved and to have access to God the Father. We need to make sure to pray in the name of Jesus.
