Please help me let that guy break up with my ### and find him a new gf he is a bad influence on my ### it is very very important to me

We hear your sadness and the heaviness you carry for your loved one and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We understand your deep concern that this young man is a bad influence and your desire to see this relationship end for the protection of your family member. The Lord calls us to care about the company our loved ones keep, for Scripture warns us that evil companionships corrupt good morals in 1 Corinthians 15:33 and to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14. When a courtship is not leading toward a godly marriage between a man and a woman who both love Christ, but instead pulls a heart away from wisdom and purity, it is right to pray for God's intervention and for discernment.

We also want to gently encourage you to place this fully in God's hands rather than focusing only on asking God to make this young man find another girlfriend. Our prayer is not to manipulate another person's affections but to ask for the Lord's perfect will to be done for both lives. We pray that if this relationship is not of God and not leading toward a holy marriage that honors Him, that the Lord would lovingly separate it and bring conviction and clarity to both hearts. If there has been any sexual impurity, which is fornication outside of marriage, we pray for repentance and for a return to purity, for the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are called to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18. Courtship should always be with the purpose of discerning marriage to a fellow believer, not simply companionship or dating without direction.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. We encourage you to come to God through Jesus with all your burdens.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is sad and burdened for their loved one. You see this relationship and You know the influence this young man has. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done. If this relationship is not from You and is leading away from You, we pray that You would in Your mercy bring it to an end and guard the heart of this loved one from harm. Give wisdom and discernment and a hunger for righteousness, that they would not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of their mind in Romans 12:2. We pray also for this young man, that You would work in his heart, draw him to Yourself, lead him to repentance where needed, and guide him onto Your path for his life and toward a future that honors You, whether that includes a godly wife in marriage according to Your plan or not. Comfort the one who is praying, for You are near to those who have a broken heart in Psalm 34:18, and guard their heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7. Help this family to speak the truth in love, to guide with patience and prayer and godly counsel as in Proverbs 22:6, and to trust Your timing and Your goodness. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer and in gentle, truthful conversation with your loved one, sharing your concerns with love and without harsh control, trusting that the Lord is able to protect and lead. Keep praying for a godly spouse for your loved one in the Lord's timing, one who will love Christ first and seek a lifelong marriage that glorifies God. The Lord hears your cries and He cares deeply for you and for your family.

We hear how sad you are and how deeply you care about your loved one. It hurts to watch someone you love make choices that worry you and to feel like you can't protect them from a bad influence.

One thing we have found helpful to remember is that every person has a kind of property line around their own decisions and values. We can love well, stay connected, and be honest about our concerns, but we can't make the choice for them, even when we are convinced we see what is best. Trying to arrange a breakup from the outside, even with good motives, often pushes the person further away.

What we can do is keep the relationship with your loved one as healthy and open as possible. A next step that may help is to have one calm, brief conversation with your loved one directly, not to control what the other person does, but to share what you have noticed and why you are concerned in your own words, and to let them know you are there for them. Then give them space to make their own decision while you keep clear boundaries for yourself about what you will and will not be part of.

We are praying for you.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Bring comfort to this hurting heart, give wisdom and clarity to the loved one, and guide each step toward what is healthy and pleasing to You. Protect them and draw each one closer to Yourself. Amen.

Your sadness has been heard, and the Lord knows the burden you carry for one you love. There is indeed a sharper grief than many of our own sorrows, and that is our anxiety for those who are dear to us when we fear they are under an influence that does not lead them toward Christ and holiness.

Scripture teaches us to say, What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. When the heart is afraid for another, the best path is not to seek to manage hearts by our own will, but to ask the Lord who alone can direct the heart to do His gracious work. For it is God that worketh in us to will and to do of His good pleasure, and He alone can turn any heart toward repentance, wisdom and purity.

We cannot pray as though we would command the Lord to arrange relationships according to our desire, nor can we ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His holy design. What we can and do pray is that God would be merciful to all who are involved, that each one would come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and that every affection and friendship would be brought under the rule of Christ. We pray that marriage, where God wills it, would be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy and living together would be kept within that covenant as God has ordained for good.

Let us pray together for the Lord to direct hearts into the love of God and into patience. We ask the Lord to give you peace in your sadness, to give wisdom to the one you love that she may discern what is good and walk in purity, and to work in the heart of this young man that he may be brought to know Christ, to turn from any harmful way, and to seek what is holy and right. If his influence is indeed harmful, we ask God in His wisdom to set proper boundaries and to provide godly counsel and protection, and to lead each life according to His perfect will rather than our own. We ask also that the Lord would raise up godly influences and faithful Christian fellowship around you all, so that truth may be spoken in love.

Be encouraged to continue in prayer, to trust the Lord with this care, and to seek the help of faithful pastors and mature believers near you who can walk with you and give wise counsel. Before we enter heaven we shall thank God for many sorrows rightly borne, and even now He can use this trial to make you more watchful in prayer and more dependent upon Christ. Cast this burden upon Him who bore the tremendous debt of sin for His people, and who now pleads for His own before the throne.

May the Lord direct your heart into His love, keep you in His peace, and work all things for His glory and your good.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your sadness is heard and your concern for your loved one is understandable when you believe someone is a bad influence. It is painful to watch someone you care about make choices that worry you, and it is good that you want to bring this burden to God in prayer.

At the same time, prayer is not a way to control other people or to make God force a breakup or assign a new relationship to someone. God invites us to pray according to His will, with love for all involved, and to trust Him with the outcome rather than asking Him to manipulate the affections and decisions of others. We cannot in good conscience ask God to make a particular relationship end or to provide a new girlfriend for someone on our terms.

What we can do is bring the whole situation to the Lord and ask for what is truly good and right. We can pray that God will work in the lives of both your loved one and this young man, that He will draw each of them closer to Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation, and that He will give them wisdom, discernment and a desire to honor Him. We can pray that any relationship in their lives would be shaped by God's design, where love, purity and commitment are lived out as God intends, with marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and with respect for His call to purity before and within it. We can pray for protection from harmful influences, for godly friendships and counsel to surround your loved one, and for you to have peace, patience and clarity as you love them well.

If you are able, continue to show your concern through honest, gentle conversation and healthy boundaries rather than through trying to steer their choices from behind the scenes. Seek wisdom from trusted, mature believers and from Scripture, and rest in the truth that God sees and cares for each person involved.

Let us pray together in this way. Father, we lift up this loved one and this young man to You. You know the sadness and anxiety this situation has caused. We ask that You would bring Your peace where there is heaviness, and Your joy where there is discouragement. Draw each of them to know Jesus Christ more deeply and to follow Him. Grant wisdom and discernment to make choices that honor You, protect them from what is harmful, and surround them with godly influence. Give the one who is praying grace to love with truth and patience and to trust Your good will and Your timing. We ask this in the name of Jesus, amen.

Your sadness is understandable and God sees the heavy burden you are carrying for someone you love very much. It is painful to watch a person you care for be influenced in a way that worries you, and to feel unable to control the outcome.

Scripture teaches that our relationship with God is primary, and when that relationship is right, our other relationships begin to find their proper balance. When we are close to Him, walking in love and obedience, we are better able to love others well and to see our family relationships more clearly. Your concern for your loved one is itself a reflection of love, and the best place to bring that concern is to your heavenly Father who invites you to know Him not in a distant or ritual way, but in a close, intimate, loving relationship as a child with a father.

God does not want us to live trying to manipulate the choices of others, but to trust Him with them. We cannot force another person to make a decision, even when we believe it would be best for them. What we can do is pray for Gods will to be done, for wisdom and discernment to grow, and for protection from influences that would draw a heart away from what is good and holy.

It is right to pray that your loved one would grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that she would come to love Him deeply and want to please Him, and that her decisions about relationships would be shaped by that love. God created relationships to be a blessing, and His design for marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman is meant to protect and strengthen us. When relationships are outside of His design or marked by pressure, jealousy, and harm, they often bring confusion and pain rather than peace.

Instead of asking God to force a breakup or to move another person toward someone else, you can pray in a way that honors everyones freedom and trusts Gods wisdom. Pray that the Lord would give your loved one clarity to see what is healthy and what is harmful, courage to set wise boundaries, and a growing desire for what pleases Him. Pray also for the young man, that God would work in his life, draw him to Himself, and lead him on a path that is good and right. And pray for your own heart, that God would give you peace, comfort in your sadness, and wisdom to love and support without carrying a weight only He can carry.

A prayer you might pray is this: Father in heaven, I bring my loved one to You and ask You to watch over her. Draw her close to Yourself and help her to know how much Jesus loves her. Give her wisdom to recognize what is good and what is harmful, and strength to make choices that honor You. Work also in the life of this young man according to Your will and lead him in Your way. Help me to trust You, to rest in Your love, and to reflect Your grace as I care for my family. Separate from us what is not of You, and restore what is broken by Your mercy. In Jesus name, amen.

Continue to seek the Lord yourself, spending time in His Word and in prayer, asking Him how close you can walk with Him. As you stay near to Him, He will give you guidance for how to love, when to speak, when to be quiet, and how to entrust those you love into His hands.
