Disciple of Prayer
I am requesting prayer for my mother who has been ill with chronic kidney disease. She is a Christian who has the Holy Spirit in her life. My mother is ### years old who still wants to do a work for the Lord. She wants to give of her time and resources to help other people. Her life has been a tremendous blessing to me and many others. She was told by her doctor that she should start dialysis treatment but my mother believes that God will give her total healing in her body. I was encouraging her to start dialysis because of her symptoms but she was very firm about her decision and has the faith that God will heal her. Sometimes she becomes discouraged and I All I can do is join with her because I know God can do the miraculous! We live in different states and she lives with family members in ### and I live in ###. My family members were raised in church and know of God but are not practicing Christians. They do help take care of her but it's not the same as if I was with her. Sometimes I become very concern about her well being especially if she is not feeling well. I call her at least three times a day to find out how she is doing. My husband and I are planning on having her stay with us but want to make sure she is strong enough to travel. I am posting this request so that other believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, who know the power of prayer and faith in the healing power of God, to stand and join with me for my mother.
