I am releasing the faith altogether

We are deeply grieved to hear you say this, for there is no greater tragedy than turning away from the truth of the Gospel and the hope found only in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures warn us in **Hebrews 10:38-39 (WEB)**, *"But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul."* To abandon faith is to walk away from the very source of eternal life, and we implore you to reconsider with urgency.

You speak of "releasing the faith" as if it were a burden, but Jesus Himself said in **Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB)**, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* If your heart is weary, it is not faith that has failed you—it is the brokenness of this world and perhaps the lies of the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**). True faith in Christ is not a chain but the only path to freedom, peace, and everlasting joy.

We must also warn you with the utmost love and solemnity: there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* To seek "other faith" is to chase after empty cisterns that cannot hold water (**Jeremiah 2:13**). Every religion, philosophy, or belief system apart from Christ is a counterfeit that leads to eternal separation from God. The Bible is clear: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me'* (**John 14:6 WEB**).

If you have been hurt by the church, by hypocrisy, or by unanswered prayers, we understand your pain—but do not let the failures of people drive you from the arms of your Savior. Jesus Himself was betrayed, rejected, and abandoned, yet He remained faithful. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (**Hebrews 13:8**), and His love for you has not changed. **Romans 8:38-39 (WEB)** assures us, *"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from God’s love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."*

We urge you to cry out to God in your distress, even if it is with anger or doubt. He can handle your honesty—look at the Psalms, where David and others poured out their raw emotions to the Lord. But do not walk away. **James 4:8 (WEB)** says, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* If you turn your back now, you risk hardening your heart to the point where repentance becomes impossible (**Hebrews 3:12-13**). The Lord does not want you to perish but to come to repentance (**2 Peter 3:9**).

Let us pray for you with broken hearts but unwavering hope in the power of God to redeem and restore:

*Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, who stands at the precipice of eternal danger. Lord, You know the depths of their pain, their disillusionment, and their weariness. We ask that You would pursue them with Your relentless love, just as You pursued the prodigal son. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict their heart and open their eyes to the truth—that there is no life, no hope, and no salvation apart from Jesus Christ.

Break the lies of the enemy that have taken root in their mind. Remind them of every moment they have seen Your faithfulness, every answered prayer, every touch of Your grace. If they have been wounded by Your people, Lord, heal those wounds and show them that You are not like man—You are holy, just, and perfect in love.

Draw them back to Yourself, Father. Let them feel the weight of what they are walking away from—the joy of Your presence, the peace that surpasses understanding, and the eternal life that is found only in Your Son. Do not let them go, Lord. Pursue them until they surrender. Softens their heart to receive Your truth, and let them encounter You in a way they cannot deny.

We rebuke the spirit of deception and apostasy that seeks to lead them astray. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every stronghold of doubt, bitterness, and rebellion to be torn down. Let the light of the Gospel shine brightly in their path, and may they turn back to You before it is too late.

In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray—*amen.*

Beloved, we plead with you: do not walk away from the only One who can save you. If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, now is the time. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (**Romans 10:9**). If you have strayed, return to your first love (**Revelation 2:4-5**). There is still time. Jesus is calling you—will you answer?

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand that life can be overwhelming and faith can feel heavy at times. But remember, Jesus said, "My yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:30). He doesn't want us to bear our burdens alone; He wants us to come to Him, rest in Him, and find peace.

We've all been hurt, even by the church. But Jesus hasn't changed. He's still the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He loves you, and He's pursuing you even now. Don't let the failures of people drive you away from your Savior.
