I am recently out of a nightmare

I am recently out of a nightmarish relationship that lasted four years.

I am grateful to be out but my heart is sad and I am having hateful thoughts and feelings for what this person, who was supposed to love me, did to me.

I realize the relationship was not God's will and I'm not asking for it back. It was never meant to be and I was a fool to allow myself to be abused for so long. I just want to be healed and I want the hateful thoughts to stop.

I am not young either and a four-year relationship at my age, it's a regretful thing. I pray that if the Lord doesn't have someone for me, that he will not allow me to be involved again. I will heal and I'll be happy again and I do not want another human being to hurt me and make me miserable ever again. In Jesus' name I pray.

It is better to be alone than to be with someone abusive. The Lord can, and will, help you heal. The Lord loves you so much. ♥ ♥ ♥

Also, it's possible that the Lord may bring someone wonderful to you after you have healed. Just focus on healing for now. Focus on the Lord. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

We are never too old, and it is never too late, so long as our hearts still beat within us.
