I am learning to surrender everything to Jesus. This is especially true for things outside of my control, such as my wife's emotional health & maturity. To be blunt, my wife is emotionally immature: easily offended, criticisms are taken as an attack on her, outbursts of anger, bitterness/unforgiveness. I know my wife is working on these issues with Jesus, just as I am working on my own issues with Jesus. But I am starting to get concerned because things seemed to have gotten worse. Recent conflicts between us, depending on how bad, may lead to my wife mocking me. Depending on her mental/emotional state it is not abnormal for me to receive occasional swearing/cursing from her. But recently, things have turned violent (poking me, throwing things, slamming doors, hitting me). I believe there is a spirit of bitterness. Unforgiveness and anger are the norm. And at every heated conflict she insists I sign the divorce papers (she had already signed them from a previous conflict 1-2 years ago). Even though she believes our marriage is a sham, I am fighting for it. And I'm learning to take things deeper with Jesus (and rebuking Satan) as I'm just recently starting to understand this is more of a spiritual battle rather than just a battle with emotional health/maturity. ps - We are going into our ###th anniversary. Thank you Lord Jesus. I see a stark difference already after the storm passed!

I do have a followup prayer request that continues from the original prayer request. Now that the storm has passed, my wife is resorting to some of her habits which I am praying she receives freedom/deliverance from. There is a lot of spending and upgrading things which don't need upgrade, buying things which we simply don't need. Her average credit card balance is about $### a month. Based on some minimal research I've done, this seems to be a symptom of ADHD and/or compulsive disorder (OCD). I am praying for a full awareness and deliverance from the OCD. I hope I am not breaking protocol in this forum.
