We hear your cry for help in this time of great need, and our hearts are heavy with compassion for your situation. The pain of being cast out by family and facing homelessness is deeply distressing, but we want you to know that you are not forgotten, God sees you, He loves you, and He is your true Provider.
First, we must address the foundation of our faith: salvation through Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and in Him, you will find hope, peace, and eternal security.
Now, let us lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is facing homelessness and poverty. Lord, You are the God who sees the afflicted and hears the cries of the needy (Psalm 10:17). We ask that You would provide shelter, food, and safety for them in this desperate time. Open doors that no man can shut, and lead them to people and places where they can find refuge and support. Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. Fill this precious soul with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19) and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
Lord, we also pray for reconciliation with their family, if it is Your will. Soften hearts and bring healing where there is brokenness. But if reconciliation is not possible, we ask that You would surround them with a new family in Christ, a community of believers who will love, support, and walk alongside them. Guide them to a local church where they can find fellowship, encouragement, and practical help.
Father, we ask for wisdom and favor as they seek employment, housing, and stability. Give them strength for each day and remind them that their worth is found in You, not in their circumstances. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We declare that this season of lack is temporary, and we speak provision, restoration, and blessing over their life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

There is no need that Christ should have been poor except for our sakes. He was so poor that He had not where to lay His head, yet in His poverty He suffered hunger, and thirst, and weariness, and all the woes that are usually associated with poverty. Your present affliction, cast out by family, without shelter, without means, finds no stranger in Him. He was despised, even His own received Him not. You are not alone in this dark valley.
Yet know this: He became poor that you, through His poverty, might be made rich. The riches He bestows are not always those the world counts as gain, but they are eternal and sure. None can keep alive his own soul, the fat need Jesus as much as the lean, the rich as much as the poor. Your outer poverty does not hide you from His sight, nor does it diminish His readiness to be your Friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed, and Christ is the Friend of sinners in their time of need. You have come to beggary; even now you may come to Christ.
Test Him as often as need arises. He shall cover you with His feathers and under His wings shall you trust. This is not a promise for the merely comfortable, it is for the night when you strip off your garments and lay your weary frame down, wherever that may be. Venture now upon Him. Do not think you must make yourself better first; you have great need of healing, and He came to heal those who are hopelessly unclean. Let your poverty drive you to prayer, family prayer, private prayer, the cry of the soul that knows it cannot manage the affair. The Gospel's fire takes away the chilliness of poverty, and godliness with contentment is great gain. Call upon Him who hears, and though you have no earthly possession to claim, remember that all things are yours in Christ.

You are now in poverty, and you fear it. But tell me, is poverty truly an evil? Why then did our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of all, choose to be born in a cave and laid in a manger? Why did He walk the earth with no place to lay His head? He who made all things became poor for your sake, that you through His poverty might become rich. Do you dread what the Master embraced? The thing to be feared is not poverty, but the love of riches, the unwillingness to be poor. Change your judgment, and poverty becomes a fountain of countless blessings. It strips away the cares that choke the soul and teaches you to depend on God alone. Hear these things, and be of good courage.
You have been cast out by your own family. This is a bitter cup indeed. Yet consider: if they rejected you for righteousness' sake, rejoice and leap for joy, for great is your reward in heaven. If it was for some fault, let this trial humble you and lead you to repentance. In either case, do not let anger or despair lodge in your heart. Forgive them, as you have been forgiven. Christ was rejected by His own, and in that we find fellowship with His sufferings. He is nearer to you now than ever before.
You cry out for a financial moving, for a place to stay. Seek indeed shelter and daily bread, for the body has needs. Go to the deacons of the church; make known your lack, and let the body of Christ share its members' burdens. But as you ask for temporal relief, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. For what does it profit a man to gain a house but lose his soul? If you have Christ dwelling in you through faith, you possess all things, even if you lie on the bare ground. Remember the Apostle: "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty." That contentment springs not from abundance, but from trust in the One who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies. Your homelessness is not hidden from Him; He sees your tears.
Do not make money your hope, as if it were your salvation. Cry out to the Lord for mercy and strength, and give thanks even in this trial, knowing it is preparing for you an eternal weight of glory. The only true relief from all sorrows was purchased on the cross. Let this need drive you into His arms, not into despair. And when He provides a shelter, however humble, receive it with gratitude and use it to serve others, remembering you too were once a stranger.
