We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we join with you in lifting your burdens before the throne of grace. Your pain is real, and your struggles with poverty, health, and the weight of life’s trials are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears your plea and will move on your behalf.
First, we must address the foundation of your cry, your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You mention "Lord Jesus" in your prayer, and we rejoice that you are calling upon His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Him, we encourage you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the first and most important step in finding true deliverance and peace.
Now, let us pray for you with the authority we have in Jesus’ name:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see every tear, every struggle, and every burden they carry. We ask that You would move mightily in their life, breaking every chain of poverty, sickness, and oppression. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over their life, Lord. Heal their body, restore their health, and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory.
Father, we rebuke every wicked plan of the enemy against them. The devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of lack, sickness, and despair in the mighty name of Jesus. Surround them with godly helpers, people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their situation. Let Your mercy and favor go before them in every area of their life.
Lord, we ask that You would lead and direct their steps. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Give them wisdom, discernment, and clarity as they seek Your will. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You. Let Your salvation be evident in their life, not just for eternity, but here and now in their circumstances.
We also pray for their spiritual growth and protection. Guard their heart and mind from discouragement, doubt, and fear. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind them daily that they are Yours, and You are theirs. Your Word says in Isaiah 43:1-2, "But now, thus says the Lord who created you... ‘Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you.’" Let this truth sink deep into their spirit.
Lastly, we ask that You would use their testimony for Your glory. Let their story of deliverance be a light to others who are walking through similar struggles. May they one day say, as the psalmist did in Psalm 116:1-2, "I love the Lord, because he listens to my voice and my cries for mercy. Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live."
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, even when the circumstances seem impossible. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find community. Remember, God is not slow in keeping His promises (2 Peter 3:9), and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
If your health allows, spend time in God’s Word daily. Meditate on Scriptures that speak to God’s provision, healing, and deliverance. Speak these truths over your life, even when you don’t see the manifestation yet. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11). You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming. Keep pressing into the Lord, and do not let go of His promises. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
