I am going through a separation that will most likely result in a divorce because their was infidelity involved on the part of my spouse. This whole ordeal has obviously been a horrific experience. I am going through an emotional roller coaster right now and I am just asking for prayer that God will grant me peace, serenity and healing in my mind and soul. Also that God's perfect will might be done through all of this! I am asking God to allow me to hear His voice clearly and precisely through this trial and to grant me the strength and grace to take action on what He is ultimately going to lead me to do. Thank you so much for the prayer support!

Forgive your spouse the way Jesus has forgiven you. That's first and foremost. You can't live with horrible emotions and allow the devil to run rampant in your mind. John 16:33 Jesus said, These things I have spoken to you that in me you will have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome this world. If you lose peace, then you can't hear from God and this is what the devil wants. Keep your eyes on him. Listen the this song by Casting Crowns called praise you in this storm. Its amazing! Trust in God and you'll find peace in your life, family and relationships. I hope your wife is saved by Jesus and you as well. Start off with forgiveness, its a game changer! Keep the faith brother. My wife has separated from me for the same reason, but God is bringing us back together because he told me so. She says otherwise, but it's not what she wants, its what God wants!! He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world. Have faith God will do greater things in you, for you, your family and your future and you shall receive what's in store for you. God hates divorce. It'll work out. I wish I could tell you the greatest experiences Ive been having since I became a Christian about 4 months ago. You would be amazed as everyone else I have told. God is greater than the minor issues we face in this life. Exalt God and not our issues. Glory to God!!

I agree, forgiveness is not easy but it's what we are called to do. My husband is having an affair and asked for divorce and filed. I hope he changes his mind, I want to forgive as God has called us to. I just need him togive me that chance. Just keep looking to God and read scripture. I'll pray for you.

I am a Christian and my wife is a Muslim so it's hard for her not knowing Jesus what forgiveness is all about. I give you a lot of credit Melissa. I respect you for understanding that forgiveness is necessary for us to mp e forward in life to love one another unconditionally the way Jesus does. One thing for sure is know who you are fighting...it is not your spouse...see the signs of the times...it really is principalities in high places....aka  Lust...this spirit is out and with vengeful force destroying people and homes, families....it's everywhere...People commit sin for so many reasons...and mostly a voice of luring us to the sin that seems to fill our "needs" of the flesh...mostly inside feeling where no one knows our hurts and our sorrows...the place that's called Secrets....ask God to heal their heart...and listen....quietly....to Love....your love was there and still is or you wouldn't be so tormented...God has healing in His hand...he knows the pain and the betrayal.   If it is at all possible for you to wipe these thoughts from your mind...God will and can heal...you have to give...it's called battles because we have to fight for Peace and Righteousness, while walking in Obedience to the Truth....be all you can be for HIM and He will show you the way for you...and no one can place forgiveness in your heart...no words, no actions, nothing....you have to take it by it's hand and let it lead you to the place of Peace...The Prince of Peace  is with you...hold onto him...every tear is bottled up with a blessing to return upon you...it may feel like you can not even breathe ....He will breathe life and life abundantly...Lord bind this spirits of Confusion lift him up and let their heart be healed in the Power of divine Love in Jesus name....God bless my prayers are with you
