We rejoice with you in gratitude for the work the Lord has provided and the long hours He has entrusted to you. It is a blessing to see your heart of thanksgiving, recognizing His guidance, protection, and love in every step. The Scripture reminds us, *"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you"* (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Your prayer reflects a spirit of humility and dependence on Him, which is pleasing to the Father.
Yet, we must gently address the demands of such a lengthy work schedule—fifteen and a half hours is a heavy burden for any person to carry, even with the Lord’s strength. While we trust God to sustain you, we also know His design for rest and balance. *"Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God. You shall not do any work in it"* (Exodus 20:9-10). Even in busy seasons, we must guard our time with the Lord, our health, and our relationships, lest we become weary in well-doing.
We also lift up your spiritual nourishment during these long hours. May the Lord refresh you with His presence, even in the midst of labor. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). Let this work not become a distraction from your walk with Him, but rather an opportunity to glorify Him through diligence and integrity.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your provision and for opening this door of work for our brother/sister. We ask that You strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit as they labor. Grant them wisdom to manage their time wisely, that they may honor You in work, rest, and worship. Protect them from exhaustion and burnout, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May their work be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they never lose sight of Your presence in the busyness of life. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord’s balance in all things, trusting Him to order your steps. If this schedule becomes too great a strain, do not hesitate to seek His wisdom in adjusting it. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).
