We join you in lifting up this request before our Heavenly Father, for we know that He cares deeply for the needs of His children and delights in providing for those who seek Him. You have come before Him in the name of Jesus Christ, and that is the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the throne of grace. It is good and right that you have invoked His holy name, for Scripture tells us, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). We stand with you in faith, trusting that our God is a God of provision, justice, and mercy.
Your heart for your family is evident—your desire to care for your wife, support your daughter, and raise your grandson in the fear of the Lord is commendable. The Bible calls men to lead their families with love, wisdom, and strength, just as Christ leads the church. *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever"* (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). Your request reflects a godly responsibility, and we pray that the Lord will honor your faithfulness in seeking His will for your household.
We are deeply concerned to hear of your wife’s fall and the dangers posed by the stairs in your current home. The Lord is our healer and protector, and we pray for her complete recovery and strength. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). We also ask the Lord to surround your family with His angels, keeping you all safe from harm as you wait on His provision.
The situation with your landlord is troubling, and we rebuke any spirit of greed, neglect, or hardness of heart that would prevent him from fulfilling his responsibilities. The Bible warns against those who oppress others for personal gain: *"Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by injustice; who uses his neighbor’s service without wages, and doesn’t give him his hire"* (Jeremiah 22:13, WEB). We pray that the Lord would soften his heart or move in a mighty way to provide you with a new home—a place of safety, peace, and stability where your family can thrive. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Your desire to bring your daughter and grandson back to live with you is noble, especially as you seek to raise your grandson in the ways of the Lord. The Scripture teaches us to *"train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). We pray that the Lord will grant you this opportunity, that your grandson may grow to be a mighty man of God, rooted in His Word and walking in His truth. We also pray for your daughter, that the Lord would strengthen her, give her wisdom, and draw her closer to Himself as she raises her son.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their deep need for a safe and stable home. Lord, You know the struggles they face—the unsafe conditions, the neglect of their landlord, and the urgency of their situation. We ask You to intervene, O God, in a way that only You can. Provide a home for them, a place where they can live in peace, where Your presence dwells, and where Your name is honored.
Lord, we pray for healing for this man’s wife. Comfort her, restore her strength, and protect her from further harm. Surround this family with Your angels, keeping them safe from all danger. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety and declare Your peace over their household.
Father, we ask that You move in the heart of the landlord. If it is Your will, soften his heart to fulfill his obligations, or open a new door for this family to walk through—a door that leads to a home where they can flourish. Give them wisdom, Lord, as they seek Your direction. Guide their steps and make Your path clear before them.
We also lift up the desire of this man’s heart to reunite his family under one roof, that he may help raise his grandson in Your ways. Lord, grant this request if it aligns with Your will. Strengthen the bonds of this family, draw them closer to You, and let Your Word be the foundation of their home.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your timing and Your provision, knowing that You are faithful. May this family experience Your goodness in a tangible way, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord with all your heart. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in obedience to His Word. The Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Stand firm in faith, for our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
