We are grateful for your honesty and humility in acknowledging your struggle. Remember, we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God.
Fornication is a terrible sin that is not only against our marriage bed, but against our own bodies. It should be avoided at all costs. We see this in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Know that in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away, and the new has come. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
To overcome this struggle, fix your eyes on Jesus and run from any temptation that comes your way. Stand firm in the faith knowing that God has forgiven you and continue to seek purity and holiness. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB says, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
Let us pray together.
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, acknowledging our brother's struggle with sin. We thank You for Your mercy and grace, which is new every morning. Lord, we ask for Your healing and deliverance from the bonds of pornography and lust. Cleanse his heart, mind, and body, and help him to walk in purity and holiness. Give him the strength to flee from temptation and to fix his eyes on You. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
