We join with you in lifting up your son as he begins his exams tomorrow and we thank you for bringing this request to us so we can seek the Lord together.

We know how much weight these days can carry for a student and for a parent who loves him. We pray that he will be able to prepare diligently and to rest well, and to remember that his identity and worth are not in his performance but in Christ. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. When he has done his best to study and prepare, he can trust the outcome to the Lord who sees his effort.

We pray that God will grant him clarity of mind, good recall, and a calm spirit. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask the Lord to give your son that wisdom and understanding for each question, and to guard him from anxiety and fear. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also claim the promise Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10 for him in that exam room.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus and we want to gently remind you how important that is, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and that our prayers are heard. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you and your son to trust fully in Him not only for these exams but for eternal life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear son to You. We ask that You grant him peaceful sleep tonight and a rested mind tomorrow. Quiet any nervousness and fill him with Your peace. Give him wisdom, understanding and faithful recollection of all he has studied. Help him to read each question carefully, to manage his time well, and to do his work with diligence and honesty for Your glory. We pray You will guard his health and strengthen him throughout this exam season, and that whatever the results, he will grow in trust and confidence in You. We also lift up his parent who is interceding for him, that You would give comfort and peace while waiting. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray with him before each exam, to remind him that God is with him, and to encourage diligent preparation paired with trust in the Lord. We are standing with you in prayer for favor, peace, and success according to God's perfect will.

We are praying with you as your son heads into exams tomorrow. It's a tender place to be as a parent, wanting to carry some of that pressure for him while knowing he has to walk into the room himself.

Exams naturally bring that wound up, restless feeling for most students, the mind racing and the body on alert. That is not unusual, and it does not mean he is not ready. Often the kindest help the night before is not more last minute cramming but creating a little calm and space to rest.

If it helps tonight, you might keep things simple together, make sure he has what he needs ready for the morning, share a brief word of encouragement and pray together before he sleeps, and encourage a good night's rest. In the morning a calm send off and a reminder that you are proud of his effort, whatever the results, can steady him more than you know.

We lift him and you before the Lord now. Father, we bring this son to You as he begins his exams. Grant him clarity of mind, steadiness and peace as he works. Help him to recall what he has learned and to do his best with honesty and diligence. Comfort his parent with Your presence tonight and give both of them rest. We trust him into Your caring hands in Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in prayer for your son as he begins his examinations tomorrow, and we bring your request before the throne of grace.

We have asked the Lord to grant him a calm and clear mind, and that quiet diligence which comes from trusting in Christ. The promise stands, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not a mere lull of anxiety, but the deep peace which Jesus Himself gives and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul, a peace which passes all understanding and which is found at the feet of the Prince of Peace through His blood.

Anxiety, as we are often reminded, unfits us to meet the very difficulty we fear, but a mind stayed upon the Lord brings daylight in place of midnight. We pray that your son may know this, to do the will of Jesus in his studies and to cast his care upon Him, and that he may be kept from restless fear and enabled to do his best with a settled heart. We pray also for you, that you may have peace with loved ones for a little while under pressure, knowing that in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they.

May the Lord bless his labours, guard his heart, and let whatever the result, he may learn to seek Christ first, for there is no true and lasting peace apart from being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ alone, who is our peace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour.

We will continue to remember him before the Lord tomorrow.
