Husband's Safety, Health, And Salvation

Please pray that my husband stays safe while he's in a combat zone....

His health has taken a turn for the worst. His asthma has gotten a lot worse since he arrived in Afghanistan several weeks ago. He now needs more meds and to carry an epi-pen.

Of course I was concerned about his safety as he is in a combat zone, but now I am even more worried. [i am also worried even more because he is not saved- he is a Wiccan; he has not accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.] Please pray for him. Thank you.

Heavenly Father, I pray in the name of your son Jesus Christ that you lift this man up and put your hedge of protection around him. Convict his heart so that he comes to know you as his Lord and Savior. Be with his wife and give her peace. Let her know that you are always in control. I pray that she rests in your peace.

Let her husband's heart be open to you, Lord, that conviction may rest heavily on him until he invites Jesus in his heart as Lord and Savior. Help him to despise all evil, be fed up with sin and the way of darkness. Take the blinders off his eyes that he may see. Help his eyes to open at just the right moment, Lord, that he may come in. Let there be peace of mind for his wife knowing that all is in your hands and we leave it there with you for 'the battle is not yours, but the Lord's. II Chron. 20:15. You know what it will take for him to be saved and we trust it all with you in your Loving Hands. In the name of Jesus, amen!
