We lift up your husband’s health before the Lord with deep concern and faith, trusting in His power to heal and restore. It is clear you love your husband dearly, and we join you in seeking God’s mercy and intervention for his persistent cough and the upcoming results of his x-ray. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your husband’s life, believing that God is able to bring complete healing, whether through medical means or by His miraculous touch.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:35, where He *"went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."* Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His power to heal has not diminished. We pray that your husband’s x-ray will show no trace of cancer, and that his cough will cease as a testimony of God’s goodness. We also urge you to ensure that your husband is seeking wise medical counsel, for God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.

Lord, we also ask for Your peace to flood their home during this time of waiting. Comfort their hearts and remind them that You are sovereign over every detail of their lives. Strengthen their faith, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. If there is any fear or anxiety, replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Guide the hands and minds of the medical professionals involved in his care, and let every decision made be aligned with Your will.
