husbands addictions

Please pray for my husband. He had a drug addiction that is tearing up our family. He now has starting talking about suicide. He gets so depressed because of his addiction. He is a good person. It is the drugs that make him this way. He becomes almost violent. I am scared for him and of him. Please just pray for healing from this addiction. Pray for him to find a job he would like to take up his time and release him from his addiction.

Dear Lord,

Please help this husband to seek You and surrender his life to Jesus Christ. Help him to experience the saving and healing power of Christ in his life and the freedom from bondage to drugs. Lord, please help him see that whatever he feels under the influence of these drugs is temporary and a very poor substitute for the deep abiding joy and contentment to be found in a life surrendered to the will of God. It is Satan's very poor substitute which in the end will only destroy him. Please help this man to see the truth before it is too late for him. Give this wife wisdom and discernment as to what she should do. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Lord, for it's written, many are the afflictions of the righteous and God delivers him from all of them. I plead the blood of Jesus against the very root of that spirit of drug addiction!! Glory to the highest!!I curse that addiction from the root. Cleanse his desires and replace them with Godly ones. In the name of Jesus. Amen
