Beloved of All
Jesus please help my ###. He is very depressed about his car and everything else going wrong right now. Honestly, we are both so broken from all our problems and nothing going right for us. Please help encourage him, and please let us figure out a way to fix the car. Please also let his job go ok and him be safe walking to work since he has no car. Please also let him be able to return the very expensive part that he bought that didn't work. Let there be no problems with the customer service desk people who have to return it. Please also help my mother-in-law who is back in the hospital yet again. Please let them keep her as long as possible, as she has no one to take care of her right now since we cannot get to her with no car. Please let her sister be able to pick her up from the hospital when she is discharged, and let someone else step up and start helping more to take care of her. Please also let my ### be ok at school and the bus not be late and his allergies subside. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this family in their time of deep struggle. The weight of financial burdens, health concerns, and emotional weariness can feel overwhelming, but we know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Let us first give thanks that this prayer was brought before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we find hope and salvation. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We recognize the deep sorrow and frustration in this situation, especially with the car troubles, financial strain, and the health of the mother-in-law. It is clear that the enemy is attacking this family on multiple fronts, seeking to steal their joy, peace, and faith. But we stand firm on the promise that *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Let us rebuke the spirit of despair, depression, and hopelessness that is trying to take root. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

To the wife who has brought this request, we encourage you to continue lifting your husband in prayer, for he is clearly under a heavy burden. Men often carry the weight of provision and protection for their families, and when circumstances seem to fail them, it can lead to deep discouragement. Remind him gently but firmly of God’s promises. *"Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved"* (Psalm 55:22, WEB). Encourage him to seek the Lord in this trial, for God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If he is struggling with feelings of failure or inadequacy, remind him that his worth is not found in his circumstances or possessions but in Christ alone. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).

Regarding the car, we pray for God’s provision and wisdom. If it is His will, let the necessary repairs be made possible, whether through unexpected funds, the successful return of the part, or another solution we cannot yet see. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We also pray for favor with the customer service representatives, that they would be cooperative and understanding. Let this situation be resolved without conflict or delay. If this car is beyond repair, we pray for God to provide another reliable vehicle, whether through a generous gift, a fair sale, or another means. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB).

For the husband’s job and safety as he walks to work, we declare God’s protection over him. *"Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore"* (Psalm 121:8, WEB). We pray that his work would be fruitful and that he would find favor with his employers. If there is any risk or danger on his route, we pray for God to make a way for safe transportation or to send angels to guard his steps. *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB).

The mother-in-law’s situation is also deeply concerning. We pray for healing and strength for her body, and we ask the Lord to surround her with His peace in the hospital. It is clear that this family is stretched thin, and the inability to visit her due to the lack of transportation adds to the burden. We pray that the Lord would raise up others—perhaps her sister or another family member, friend, or even a church community—to step in and provide the care she needs. *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). We also pray that the medical staff would attend to her with compassion and excellence. If it is God’s will, let her recovery be swift and complete, but if it is His plan to call her home, we pray for His comfort and presence to be with her and the family during that time.

For the child mentioned in this prayer, we lift them up to the Lord, asking for His protection over their school day, their health, and their allergies. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty"* (Psalm 91:1, WEB). We pray that the bus would run on time and that the child would feel the Lord’s peace and joy, even amid the family’s struggles. Let this season draw them closer to Jesus, teaching them to trust in Him from a young age.

Finally, we address the brokenness and weariness that both the husband and wife are feeling. It is understandable to feel overwhelmed when so many challenges arise at once, but we must not lose heart. *"Don’t you be weary in well-doing, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). This is a time to lean on the Lord and on each other, to pray together, and to seek His face as a couple. If there has been any strain or frustration between them due to these trials, we pray for reconciliation and unity. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, WEB). Let this trial strengthen their marriage rather than divide them.

We also encourage this family to seek support from their church community. God did not design us to walk through trials alone. *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB). If they are not already connected to a biblical, Christ-centered church, we urge them to find one where they can be supported, encouraged, and prayed for.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, You see their struggles—the financial burdens, the health concerns, the emotional weariness, and the feeling of being overwhelmed. We ask that You would meet them in this place of brokenness and remind them that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Peace.

Lord, we pray for the husband, who is deeply discouraged. Lift the spirit of depression from him and replace it with Your hope and joy. Remind him that his identity is in You, not in his circumstances. Give him wisdom as he navigates the car repairs and his job. Protect him as he travels to and from work, and let Your favor rest upon him in every interaction.

We pray for the wife, who is also carrying a heavy load. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your peace. Help her to be a source of encouragement to her husband, and let their marriage be a reflection of Your love and unity.

Father, we ask for Your provision in the situation with the car. If it is Your will, let the part be returned without issue, and let the repairs be completed successfully. If not, provide another solution—a reliable vehicle, unexpected funds, or another means to meet their needs. We pray for favor with the customer service representatives and for Your hand to guide every detail.

We lift up the mother-in-law to You, Lord. Heal her body and surround her with Your peace. Raise up others to care for her, whether family, friends, or medical staff. Let her sister be able to assist her, and let no detail of her care be overlooked. Comfort this family as they worry for her, and let them trust in Your sovereignty over her life.

We pray for the child in this family—protect them at school, Lord, and let the bus run on time. Heal their allergies and fill their heart with Your joy. Let them know, even in their youth, that You are their Protector and Provider.

Finally, Lord, we pray for unity and strength in this marriage. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other. Provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine, and let them testify of Your faithfulness when this season has passed.

We rebuke every scheme of the enemy against this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. We declare Your peace, Your provision, and Your protection over them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend. It's like the storm is coming from every direction, isn't it? The car troubles, the financial strain, the health concerns, it's all just too much sometimes. But remember, we serve a God who is bigger than all of this. He sees you, He hears you, and He's right there with you in the middle of it all.

We're going to keep lifting up your husband to the Lord. We know depression can feel so heavy, but we serve a God who specializes in lifting burdens. Let's remind him of that verse, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you" (Psalm 55:22). Let's encourage him to keep seeking the Lord, because God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

And let's not forget about the car situation. We're going to keep praying for God's provision and wisdom. Maybe it's time to look into other reliable vehicles that might be more affordable in the long run. We trust that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We're also going to keep praying for your mother-in-law. We're asking the Lord to heal her body and to raise up others to care for her. Maybe it's time to reach out to her sister or other family members to see if they can help out more. And let's not forget to pray for the medical staff, that they would attend to her with compassion and excellence.

And how about that sweet child of yours? Let's pray for their protection and health. We're asking the Lord to watch over them at school and to heal their allergies. Let's also pray that they would feel the Lord's peace and joy, even in the midst of all that's going on.

Lastly, let's keep praying for unity and strength in your marriage. It's easy to get pulled apart when the storms come, but let's remind ourselves that we're in this together. Let's keep seeking the Lord together, praying together, and trusting that He will see us through.

We're here with you, every step of the way. Let's keep fighting the good fight of faith together, in Jesus' name. Amen.
