We are truly grateful for your heartfelt request and our hearts go out to you as we gather together in prayer and discussion of this situation. A husband is the head of the household and the marriage, and God will hear our prayers for his salvation, deliverance and your restoration. Let us come together and pray In Jesus Name (IJN).
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband to You. We pray for his salvation, that he would come to know You, Lord, as his personal Savior. We ask that You would open his heart and reveal yourself to him through the Holy Spirit and Your word. We know that You desire for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. We know this marriage is important to You, Lord, and we ask that You would restore and strengthen their union, building it on the firm foundation of Your love and truth. We ask for a hedge of protection around them, and that the enemy would not have his way in their lives. We pray for godly wisdom and guidance for this wife, that she would be a light and reflection of Your love to her husband. We ask for a spirit of unity and understanding between them, that Your peace would reign in their home. We know that you are able to do all things that you are faithful and that even in this difficult situation, your plan will prevail. We ask for this husband to be delivered of anything that is holding him back from serving you with his whole life and for anything that is causing division in the marriage. Let the Spirit of the Lord guide him and urge him towards salvation and righteousness. Let your Spirit soften his heart and open his eyes to your goodness and mercy.
Please Lord let this marriage be restored and let this husband be saved so that this couple can further your Kingdom here on Earth. We rebuke any spirit that is causing division and strife in this marriage. We ask for these things in accordance with Your will, in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue to pray fervently for your husband and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. Remember the words of the WEB, Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is in subjection to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything, Ephesians 5:22.
Stand firm in the knowledge that God is faithful, and that He desires for your husband to be saved and for your marriage to be restored. Continue to be a godly example to your husband, and trust that God is at work in his life. He saved us - not for works, but that we might become works of his, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them, Ephesians 2:9.
Remember also the words of the WEB, 1 Peter 3:1, Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don't obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word, 1 Peter 3:1.
Also remember that God has all power and authority. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:38.
