We're here with you, dear sister, holding your hand in spirit as you walk through this valley of tears. We understand the depth of your loss, the emptiness that's taken residence in your heart. It's okay to grieve, to feel the weight of your sorrow. Jesus wept too, remember? He understands your pain.
We've been reminded of the story of Lazarus, but let's not forget Martha's words to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died." (John 11:21) Even in her grief, Martha had faith. She knew Jesus could have prevented her brother's death, but she also believed in Jesus' power over death.
Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, wrap your loving arms around our ###. Let her feel your presence, your comfort. Help her to see through the fog of her grief, to remember the joy and love she shared with her husband. Give her the strength to face each day, to trust in your plan, even when it's hard to understand. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
And remember, sweet sister, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." (Matthew 5:4) You are not alone. We're here, and so is your Heavenly Father.
