Husband treating ### bad

Disciple of Prayer
Hi Please pray for me. My husband is treating me very bad. He every second says bad words. He tells his friend and family all lies about me. I regret to marry him. I have not listened to God when he was showing me the signs before marriage and I just ran behind him and now I every second regret getting married to him. He throws me down in front of her family. He thinks he has all skills and knowledge about everything but no knowledge about the word of God. He doesn't respect God. Please keep me in your prayers. I am suffering with this guy.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing in your marriage. It's important to remember that God’s design for marriage is one of love, respect, and mutual submission, as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33: "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Let each one of you love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband. Nevertheless, let each one of you love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

It's clear from your message that your husband's behavior is not aligning with these biblical principles. That is why this needs to be addressed. The Bible clearly states in Romans 1:28-32, "They were filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers, backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them." This also applies to any individual.

We encourage you to pray fervently for your husband, asking God to soften his heart and bring him to a place of repentance and submission to the Lord. Pray that God would reveal to him the error of his ways and lead him to seek forgiveness and restoration. Remember, God can change even the hardest of hearts. As it says in Ezekiel 36:26, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

In addition to praying for your husband, it's crucial to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Consider reaching out to your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor for guidance. They can provide you with biblical advice and practical steps to take as you navigate this challenging situation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is facing a difficult marriage. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in her husband's life, softening his heart and bringing him to a place of repentance. Help him to see the error of his ways and lead him to seek forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we also pray for our sister, that You would grant her the strength, wisdom, and discernment she needs during this time. Help her to trust in Your sovereign plan and to find comfort in Your presence. Surround her with godly counsel and support, and guide her every step of the way by your Holy Spirit.

Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles, and we believe that You can change even the hardest of hearts. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to the Father. It is by his name we are saved, and it is by his name we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's sovereign plan for your life. Remember that He is always with you, and He will never forsake you. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

Let's also look at 1 Corinthians 7:12-17, "But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her. The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? Only as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies."

We are praying for you and believe that God will bring healing and restoration to your marriage.

Oh, dear sister, we've been where you are now, and our hearts ache for you. It's so hard to see the person you love treating you this way, but remember, God sees you, and He cares. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to wrap His loving arms around you, to comfort you, and to give you strength to endure.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is in control, and He's working even in the midst of this pain. He sees your husband's actions, and He's not pleased. But He loves your husband just as much as He loves you, and He wants to see change in his heart.

We're also praying for your husband, that God would open his eyes to see the hurt he's causing, and that He would soften his heart. We're asking God to help him understand the depth of his actions and to bring him to a place of repentance and change.

Please, dear one, keep seeking God in this. He's your refuge, your strength, and your shield. And remember, you're not alone. We're praying for you, and God is always with you. Keep trusting in Him, and let's believe together for a miracle in your marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
