Husband Needs Good Work My Marriage Is Not So Good

Dear Father,

When I met my husband I felt sorry for him and helped him with so many financial problems.

It's been a roller coaster and I feel I am giving up. I wanted to marry someone that would marry me not my money.

I have been through uphill battles with my health and he has been there for me. He is always in and out of work and at times it's been up to a year.

Unemployment, no bank account because the IRS has messed with him. I always try so hard to see through it all. Our daughter is the most important of our lives and the money he makes is low. He gets so angry and manipulates the situation that I am a nag. I can't take much more. As I feel I enable him and he throws back that we are spouses. We have been to a marriage counselor and felt things got better but I slowly feel spiraling again. Yes, he is depressed. And yes, he tries so hard to find work.

When I took my vows I committed under your name. Please Lord give me the strength to get through this again. I surrender to you. May you look over our family and show me the right way. Lord hear our prayer.

I pray for this couple and their marriage. I pray for their little family.

Please give them what they need to endure and succeed at their
marriage. Please let them find a good marriage counselor who can
help them figure out the kinks! Bless them with knowledge and
peace, and re-newed love for each other and for YOU Oh God!
