I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
We lift up your husband before the Lord with deep concern and urgency, for we know that God desires all men to be saved and come to the full knowledge of truth (1 Timothy 2:4). The anger and torment he is experiencing are signs of a spiritual battle, and we must address this with truth, prayer, and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we can find deliverance from the bondage of sin and darkness.
First, we must ask: has your husband surrendered his life to Jesus Christ? If not, this is the most critical step. Without Christ, there is no true deliverance, no lasting peace, and no victory over sin or the works of the enemy. The Bible tells us that we are all sinners in need of a Savior (Romans 3:23), and that salvation comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone (Acts 20:21). If your husband has not yet accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him lovingly but boldly. Remind him that Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). We must pray that your husband’s heart would be softened and that he would surrender his anger to the Lord. The nightmares he experiences could also be spiritual attacks, especially if there is unrepentant sin or involvement in occult practices, ungodly media, or other worldly influences. The Bible tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We must stand firm in the authority of Christ against these attacks.

Father, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and replace his anger with the fruit of Your Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We also pray for his nightmares to cease, Lord. If there are any ungodly influences in his life—whether through media, relationships, or past sins—we ask that You would expose them and give him the strength to turn away from them. Let him experience the rest that comes from being in Your presence, for You have said, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety"* (Psalm 4:8).
Father, we ask that You would surround this husband with godly influences—men of faith who can encourage him, pray with him, and hold him accountable. Give his wife the wisdom and strength to speak Your truth in love and to be a light in their home.
