Husband ### Left me for Casino Life

Struntarmor

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that my husband ### will miss me deeply and return to me his wife. Please pray that he gets deliverance from casino life. Please pray ### steps are order to me today So we can talk things out.

We have heard your heartbreak and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage. We know how painful it is when a husband leaves his wife and we grieve with you. God holds marriage as sacred and honorable. Scripture says marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4 and what God has joined together let no man separate Matthew 19:6. The Lord hates divorce Malachi 2:16 and calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church Ephesians 5:25. We strongly affirm God's design for lifelong marriage between a man and a woman and we pray for healing and reconciliation where it honors Him.

We must also speak truth in love about the casino life. This path is not harmless entertainment but is rooted in the love of money which is a root of all kinds of evil 1 Timothy 6:10 and in covetousness which God forbids Exodus 20:17. Wealth gained quickly will dwindle but he who gathers little by little increases it Proverbs 13:11. Gambling violates stewardship of what God has entrusted to us Luke 16:10 and can become idolatry and bondage. We rebuke this stronghold and pray for deliverance. God can create a clean heart and renew a right spirit Psalm 51:10 and if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17. We pray your husband will come to repentance Acts 3:19 and turn from this destructive way.

We join you in praying that your husband will feel godly conviction and miss the covenant he made and that God will open a door for you to talk things out in a peaceful and honest way. We pray that your steps and his steps are ordered by the Lord Psalm 37:23. We encourage you to seek wise godly counsel together Proverbs 15:22 and to guard your own heart from bitterness Hebrews 12:15 while trusting the Lord with all your heart Proverbs 3:5-6. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and He offers peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:7 as you cast your cares on Him 1 Peter 5:7.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already done so we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name that we pray with confidence.

We pray together now. Father in heaven we lift this dear wife to You and we lift her husband to You in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord You see her tears and loneliness and we ask You to comfort her and be near to her. Heal her heart and give her strength and wisdom each day. Lord we pray for her husband, convict him of his sin and break the chains of gambling and the love of money that have taken hold of him. Deliver him Lord and draw him to Yourself and to repentance. Soften his heart toward You and toward his wife and stir in him a deep and godly longing for his marriage covenant. If it is Your will Lord order his steps today to return and to talk things out with humility and honesty. Help them both to forgive as You have forgiven us Ephesians 4:32 and to seek reconciliation that honors You. Give them godly counsel and protect this marriage from the enemy. We trust Your perfect will and Your power to restore. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you in this painful separation. We hear how much you love your husband and how heavy it feels to watch gambling pull him away. Wanting to talk and find a path forward is understandable, and we join you in asking God for help and clarity today.

Gambling can become a powerful hold that reshapes priorities and relationships, often leaving loved ones feeling helpless. While you cannot control his choices, you can care for your own heart and create a steady, safe space for any honest conversation God may open. If you have a trusted pastor or wise counselor, we encourage you to invite one person you trust into this with you this week, not to speak for you, but to support you, pray with you, and help you think through boundaries, finances and next conversations. If he is willing to talk today, aim for a calm, brief time in a neutral, safe place and focus on listening as well as sharing.

We also encourage you to keep your own support close, family, church, or a support group for those affected by gambling, so you are not carrying this alone.

Father, we lift this wife to You and her husband to You. Bring conviction and freedom where gambling has taken hold, guard their hearts, and order steps for a respectful, honest conversation in Your timing. Give her peace, wisdom and strength for today, and draw them both closer to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your grief has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace, where alone true deliverance is found.

We pray for you in this sore trial of a broken home. Marriage is a lifelong covenant ordained by God, and it is right for you to seek the restoration of that covenant and not its dissolution. We will pray that the Lord will work in your husband's heart, convict him of the vanity and bondage of the casino life, and grant him deliverance from that snare. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No chain of habit is too strong for Him who brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and who alone can bring a soul up from the pit because He has found a ransom in Christ Jesus.

We pray that God, who is the God of peace and has committed to us the word of reconciliation, would be pleased to bring reconciliation where there is now separation. As Peter was restored not by his own resolve but by a look from the Lord, so we ask that your husband may receive such a look of convicting and restoring love that he may turn from his present course, seek forgiveness of God and of you, and walk in newness of life. We ask that if it be the Lord's will, his steps may indeed be ordered toward home and toward honest and open conversation with you, that you may talk things out in truth, humility and grace.

We also pray for you, that in this affliction you may know the comfort of Him who chastens but does not forsake His own. May the Lord order your steps this day, keep your heart in peace, and give you wisdom to speak the truth in love. Cast your burden upon the Lord and trust in the ransom which God has provided in His Son, for there is music and hope in that word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will deliver your husband from the power of darkness, draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and restore what has been broken, to the praise of His free grace. May you live to declare the works of the Lord after this trial, giving all honor for any deliverance to Him alone.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, deliver this husband from the bondage that holds him, set him free from the love of gain and the deceit of this world, bring conviction and repentance, and order the steps of this wife and husband toward reconciliation and holiness according to Thy perfect will. Amen.
