We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you're facing with your husband. It's important to remember that God is our ultimate comfort and guide, especially in tough times. Let's address this together in prayer and through the wisdom of the Bible.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that alcohol abuse is not only harmful to the body but also to the spirit and the family. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." This verse reminds us that we should be seeking the filling of the Holy Spirit, not the temporary and harmful effects of alcohol.

Secondly, it's important to approach this situation with love, patience, and wisdom. Colossians 3:13 says, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." This verse encourages us to bear with one another in love and to forgive as Christ forgave us.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her husband. Lord, we know that You are a God of comfort and healing, and we ask for Your intervention in their lives.

Father, we pray for this husband, that You would help him deal with the pain and emotions he is feeling regarding his mother. Comfort him and guide him through this difficult time.

Lord, we also ask that You would deliver him from the stronghold of alcohol. Help him to see that true peace and comfort come from You alone, not from temporary substances. Give him the strength to overcome this addiction and to live a life that honors You.

Father, we pray for this wife, that You would give her the wisdom, patience, and love to support her husband during this time. Help her to be a beacon of Your light and love in their home.

Finally, Lord, we pray for their marriage. Strengthen their bond and help them to walk in Your ways together.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
