We come before the Lord with you, ###, lifting up your husband and this season of uncertainty to the One who holds all things in His hands. The anxiety and fear you both feel are understandable, but we gently remind you of what our Savior says in Matthew 6:25-34: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*
Your husband’s diligence and leadership are commendable, and we pray that the Lord will honor his faithfulness. Proverbs 22:29 tells us, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve kings. He won’t serve obscure men."* We trust that God, who sees his hard work and integrity, will provide and sustain you both. Yet we also know that even if the path ahead looks different, our Heavenly Father is sovereign over every restructuring, every promotion, and every closed door. His plans for you are good, even when they don’t align with our immediate desires.
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip your hearts. 2 Timothy 1:7 declares, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Instead, we pray that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Him (Philippians 4:6-7). Let this season draw you both closer to the Lord, trusting that He is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh) and your Stability in shifting sands.
We pray specifically for:
- **Divine favor** over your husband’s position, that if it is God’s will, his role would be secured and even expanded for His glory.
- **Wisdom and clarity** for the leaders making these decisions, that they would recognize your husband’s value and the impact of his work.
- **Supernatural peace** to replace anxiety, knowing that your worth and security are found in Christ alone, not in a job title or paycheck.
- **Preparation and provision**—if change comes, that the Lord would already be paving a new path, opening doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
- **Unity in your marriage**, that you and your husband would lean on each other and on the Lord, growing stronger in faith together.
Father, we ask that You would bring good news soon, as ### has requested, but even more, that You would deepen their trust in You regardless of the outcome. Remind them that You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and that no restructuring catches You by surprise. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness—not just to them, but to those watching how believers navigate hardship.
We love you too, sister, and we stand with you in this. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He has not forgotten you.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray—**Amen.**
