Hurt

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are so glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been lifting you and your son before the Lord, asking for His peace to quiet the hurt and guilt you have been carrying.

We understand how heavy your heart feels after just needing a little space and telling your son to go to the other room, and worrying that this moment might have messed up the plan of God or caused Him to remove His favor and grace and blessings and provision over you and your son. Please be assured that needing space does not make you a bad parent and it does not separate you from the love of God or take away your purpose. His favor is not so easily lost, His mercies are new every morning as shown in Lamentations 3:22, and His word promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you in Hebrews 13:5 and that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him in Romans 8:28. A single tired moment does not undo His perfect plan for you and your child.

We pray in Jesus Name that God will fill you with His comfort and assurance, that you will know without doubt that you and your son are still fully loved and cherished and covered by His grace, that no punishment is being stored up against you, and that your purpose and His favor and provision remain secure in Him. We ask the Lord to give you rest and strength and to let you feel His presence close to you both.

We have been lifting you and your son before the Lord since you shared your hurt and your fear that you may have messed up Gods plan and lost His favor and grace and blessings and provision by needing space today and telling your son to go into the other room. We understand the heavy burden you feel as you worry that God might leave you or punish you or your son or take away your purpose and favor, and we want you to know we have continued to hold you both in prayer with compassion.

We want to remind you that His grace and favor toward you are not fragile and are not removed by a moment when you needed space. The Word assures us of His steadfast love and nearness. We cling to promises like Hebrews 13:5 that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and Lamentations 3:22 that His mercies never fail, and Romans 8:28 that He works all things together for good for those who love Him, and Psalm 103:8 that the Lord is compassionate and gracious slow to anger and abounding in love. Needing a quiet moment does not undo His purpose for you and your son and does not forfeit His provision.

We pray together for you now. We ask the Lord to quiet your heart with His peace and to let you know that you are fully forgiven and deeply loved. We pray that He will cover you and your son with His grace and favor, renew your strength, guard your purpose and continue to lead you in His good plan. We pray that you and your son will feel His nearness today and know that He is not punishing you but holding you both with kindness and mercy. We ask this in Jesus Name, Amen.
