Hurricane Gustav

Prayer Partners join me in prayer for those involved in the hurricane situation. Lord, we know You make no mistakes. This hurricane is no mistake. We pray for your protection of those involved, those that live in the area and the volunteers who willingly put themselves in harms way for others. It is storms like this that show us how great You are. We pray that the transition for the residents to go to other places run smoothly and we pray for their peace, knowing that You are in control of this situation. We also pray for the protection of their homes, that the thieves won't come in and rob and steal from them. We pray for the elderly, those in hospitals and the animals. We also pray for those calling the shots in this situation, that You will give them Your wisdom in handling this situaiton. We thank You for the blessings that will come out of this. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jesus, I pray you bless Shante, bless Shante with more hope, joy, peace, happiness and more understanding. She is your servant Lord, you spoke to Shante to lift up this prayer to you and it's helped me to see more of what you are doing in everyones lives who serve you and who serve our community. Shante, you are so kind, caring and loving. Your heart is so pure. Thank you for caring so much for the people in the path of this potentially dangerous storm.

Lord, I agree with these prayers. They have a little time to prepare. Help them escape. Give them safety and refuge. Let them see your mighty power that they might cling to you in their time of need. You are a mighty God. I know you do not wish them harm. I pray that the persons in places of authority will have wisdom to lead the people out at the right time. Thank you for your mercy and your grace. Amen

You are always there, even in the storms of our lives. I praise you that Gustav was not as bad as expected. Thank you Jesus for Your mercy and grace. Please use this situation to bring many to your throne of salvation. Lord, please protect those most vulnerable,....the elderly and the sick and the children. Keep them from harm. Please place your angels around them. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
