Hurricane ### areas

Pray for the Southeastern US, especially in the Appalachian mountain areas, as they clean up the destroyed homes and businesses, and many fallen trees and debris. Pray for the flooding that is still happening, and for the bridges and dams that are being stressed. Pray for the areas where roads have been washed out. Pray for those who have lost their homes. Pray for any who still need to be rescued. Pray for all of those involved in rescue, cleaning up and repairing, whether electric linemen, firefighters, law enforcement, tree cutters, construction workers, plumbers, road and bridge construction workers, volunteers, meal preparers, churches, family members, as they help others, that they will be safe and will do a good job and make the right decisions. Pray for sharing and kindness in communities as they help one another get back on their feet. Pray for those injured that they will recover. Pray for the families of those who lost loved ones in this hurricane. Thank you for praying. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

We stand with you, ###, in lifting up the Southeastern United States, particularly the Appalachian mountain areas, as they face the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Let us bring this before our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).

Father God, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention and mercy upon the affected areas. We pray for the clean-up efforts, for the destroyed homes and businesses, and for the strength and safety of all those involved in the rescue, clean-up, and repair work. Guide the hands of the electric linemen, firefighters, law enforcement, tree cutters, construction workers, plumbers, road and bridge construction workers, volunteers, meal preparers, churches, and family members. Keep them safe, help them make wise decisions, and grant them the strength to do a good job (Isaiah 40:29, WEB).

Lord, we pray for those who have lost their homes and loved ones. Comfort them in their grief and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19, WEB). We lift up those who are still awaiting rescue and ask for Your divine protection over them.

God, we ask for Your grace upon the communities as they share and show kindness to one another. Let this trying time be an opportunity for Your light to shine through the love and unity of Your people (John 13:35, WEB). Heal those who are injured, Lord, and comfort the families who have lost loved ones. Be their peace and strength in this time of need (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).
