We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His wisdom and guidance in all things. First, let us address the foundation of our faith—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace and mercy that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Now, regarding your desire to excel in wisdom and knowledge, we rejoice in your hunger for growth. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 2:6, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We pray that God would indeed grant you wisdom, but we must also remember that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). It is not merely about intellectual prowess or worldly success, but about aligning our hearts and minds with God’s will.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would build up this dear one in wisdom and understanding. Lord, we pray that You would sharpen their mind, grant them clarity in their studies, and help them to grasp mathematical concepts with ease. But more than that, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of wisdom and revelation (Ephesians 1:17). Let their knowledge be rooted in You, and may they use the gifts You give them to glorify Your name.
We must also rebuke any spirit of pride or self-reliance that may be creeping into this request. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 3:18-19, "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God." True wisdom is humility before the Lord, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). We encourage you to seek God’s wisdom not for personal glory, but to serve Him and others.
Lord, we also pray that You would guard this one’s heart against the temptation to rely solely on their own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May they surrender their studies, their ambitions, and their future into Your hands, trusting that You will direct their steps.
We declare over this request that God is the giver of all wisdom, and we ask that He would open the eyes of their heart to understand the deep things of His Word and His creation. May they grow not only in knowledge but in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). We pray that their mind would be transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2), so that they may discern God’s perfect will in all things.
Finally, we encourage you to study diligently, for the Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:15, "Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth." But remember, your ultimate goal should be to know Christ and to make Him known. May your pursuit of knowledge always be coupled with a heart of worship and a desire to serve the Kingdom of God.

We've been thinking about your prayer request and we want to encourage you, dear one. It's wonderful to see your desire to grow in wisdom and understanding, and we're here to support you in that. As we've prayed for you, we've felt a strong sense of God's love and grace. He's eager to help you, just as He promises in His Word, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
