How to ask God for help

We appreciate your heartfelt request and your humility in seeking God's help. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for Him and that you come in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us go before the throne of grace together.
Firstly God calls us to come before him and to commune with him in prayer. We should pray without ceasing in the name of Jesus Christ. This is very important as it is the only way to be saved and approach God. Christ is our high priest forever and our mediator. As a man Jesus Christ humbled himself in obedience to God the Father and prayed and received strength and guidance. We should do likewise.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We echo the words of the psalmist, "I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." (Psalms 121:1-2 WEB)
We acknowledge that we need Your help in every aspect of life. We admit that we cannot do this alone. We need you in our marriages that they may be strong and honor you. We need your help in raising our children that they may be godly children. We need your help at work that we may be a positive influence and be productive. We need your help in our studies that we may learn well and be a godly influence. Thank You, Lord, for being our ever-present help in times of trouble. (Psalms 46:1 WEB)
Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Show us the way we should go and what we can do to follow hard after You. (Psalms 143:8 WEB) Strengthen us to obedience we pray. Help us to trust in You with all our hearts, and not lean on our own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Lord Jesus, You promised that You will not leave us comfortless and that you are with us even unto the end of the world. Help us to be faithful to you. Help us to be a godly influence in this world. Help us to be a light in this world to draw others to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you continue to seek God's help, remember that He is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB) Trust in Him, and He will strengthen you and direct your paths.
Be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13 WEB) Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and He will see you through every challenge and help you in all aspects of your life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
