Teach me to Pray
1. We should pray like a little child Matthew 18:3
2. We should not pray for recognition Matthew 6:5
3. We should not pray with vain repetitions Matthew 6:7
4. We should not pray like a Scribe, or a Pharisee Matthew 6:5
5. We should pray from our heart and soul Deuteronomy 4:29
6. Fervent prayer is private, in your closet, on your knees, meaning away from people Matthew 6:6
7. Forgiving men their trespasses Matthew 6:14
8. Being Careful to have a good countenance: Matthew 6:16

How did David pray?
KJB1611: 2 Samuel 12:
16 Dauid therfore besought God for the childe, and Dauid fasted, and went in, and lay all night vpon the earth.
17 And the Elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him vp from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eate bread with them.
How did Daniel Pray?
KJB 1611 Daniel 6
11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying, and making supplication before his God.
12 Then they came neere, and spake before the king concerning the kings decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that euery man that shall aske a petition of any God or man, within thirty dayes, saue of thee, O king, shalbe cast into the denne of Lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
13 Then answered they and said before the king; That Daniel which is of the captivity of the children of Iudah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
How did Yeshua Pray?
KJB1611 Luke 6
12 And it came to passe in those dayes, that hee went out into a mountaine to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Iesus gave us an example prayer: KJB1611: Matthew 6:
8 Be not yee therefore like vnto them: For your father knoweth what things yee haue neede of, before yee aske him.
9 After this maner therefore pray yee: Our father which art in heauen, hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdome come. Thy will be done, in earth, as it is in heauen.
11 Giue vs this day our daily bread.
12 And forgiue vs our debts, as we forgiue our debtors.
13 And lead vs not into temptation, but deliuer vs from euill: For thine is the kingdome, and the power, and the glory, for euer, Amen.
