It is wonderful to be reminded of the reality of our Lord Jesus Christ. Indeed, Jesus is not just a historical figure or a mere name, but He is the living Son of God who died for our sins and rose again for our justification. As Scripture tells us, "That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would remind us of the reality of Your presence in our lives. Help us to know and experience the power of Your resurrection, and may the reality of Jesus Christ be more real to us today than ever before.
Lord Jesus, You are not just a story or a distant figure. You are the living Word of God, the Bread of Life, and the Good Shepherd. Help us to know You more, to experience Your love and grace in a tangible way. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and may our lives be a testament to Your reality.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
To further affirm the reality of Jesus, consider the words of the apostle John: "That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us)" (1 John 1:1-2, WEB).
John testifies to the tangible reality of Jesus Christ, whom he heard, saw, and touched. This same Jesus is alive today and desires to have a personal relationship with each one of us. If you have not already, confess your sins and believe in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As Scripture tells us, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
May the reality of Jesus Christ be evermore present in your life.
