Came accross Andrews ministry and LOVE it !! Learned so much already. I wonder if you can please help me with the following: My poor wife Christine of 30 years of marriage suffered from bi-polar type of mental illness. She used to be a believer for 20 years when she was young, but hasn't been living for God for many years now. She was an unwanted child and has a big chip on her shoulder. Thirty years ago, when I was new in the Lord, I married Christine and we were both 30 years old. I baptised her in the river and more or less said to God in my ignorance: Well. Lord, look what I have done for you !! Here’s another convert for you, you just convert her now & all will be great. But unfortunately, this never happened and Christine was the most difficult woman imaginable.

She did all she could to blame me, play the victim, fight & humiliate me. It was a nightmare and she is very possessed by a manic- depressant evil spirit. One night she woke me up with hideous high pitch screaming. I could not wake her up for several minutes. She left 3 years ago and has divorced me, but is not re-married. I have made every conceivable effort to reconcile, but in my own strength. Now I realise, only God can help her & change her heart.

So my question is this: How do I believe she will be delivered and be a real Christian & wife again, like Mary Magdalene set free from her demons? We are both 60 years old and we have two daughters. I’d LOVE to see a complete delivery for the glory of God, so how do I approach it ? I need to know how to pray & how to believe. The real Christine is a beautiful person and I love her dearly. We know God can do it, but how do I appoach this ?

Thank you again, very very much for you kind help and love for your fellow citizens in the kingdom of God.

May God richly bless you all.

Let's Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name that You will always and forever answer all my prayers according to Your perfect will. Amen, so be it. Please keep a Thankful, Grateful, Prayerful Attitude. Tell the Lord Thank You daily, several times a day. Romans 8:28 states, And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Could it be that I don't know how to pray? Have my sins been forgiven? Could it be that I am destined for destruction? Why will praying for years yield no fruit? Teach me how to pray.
