Unfortunately, this type of thing happens alot when it comes to money. People look to someone they're "friendly with" and use that closeness as a chance to use the person to do something to their advantage,and with no conscience as to how it harms the person affected. I'd say because they're only looking out for themselves, and not caring about who they put through this, the cause is probably selfishness, caused by the fallen nature. Of course, if they mention times and dates when they'll pay and like 5 times in a row it doesn't happen,there's lying involved too. But unfortunately, like I say,this happens too often. It's happened to me a few times,and I've seen many people post on this site that it's happened to them.I think the first prayer would be to change the nature of these people so they don't do that to others, thereby saving others from this kind of unneeeded stress.Amen.{Oh, with the one taking the side of the wrongdoer , I've experienced that one, too, they go with who they're closer to over right or wrong.}
