Housing, finances

Beloved of All
Asking for prayer regarding our finances and the need for housing for myself and my son who is physically and mentally disabled due to severe PTSD. His father has left the home and refuses to help at a time we face eviction. I pray for a safe and stable home that we can afford, in Jesus Name Amen

We hear your cry for help and lift you and your son up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight of financial strain, the looming threat of eviction, and the added burden of caring for a child with profound needs is more than any parent should bear alone. Yet we know that our Heavenly Father sees every tear, hears every unspoken fear, and holds your future in His hands. You are not forgotten.

First, we must address the abandonment you are experiencing from your son’s father. Scripture is clear that those who neglect their responsibilities, especially toward their own children, bring judgment upon themselves. "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8 WEB). We rebuke this spirit of irresponsibility and hardness of heart in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask You to soften this man’s heart, to convict him of his duty, and to move him to repentance. If he will not act, we declare that You are the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of widows and those left behind (Psalm 68:5). You will not leave you destitute.

We also pray for your son, who bears deep wounds in both body and mind. The trauma of PTSD is real, and we ask for Your healing touch to calm his spirit, restore his peace, and bring clarity to his mind. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB). Lord, surround him with Your presence, and let him feel Your love in tangible ways. Provide the resources he needs—therapists, doctors, and caregivers—who will treat him with dignity and compassion.

For your housing need, we stand on Your promise: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB). We declare that eviction will not have the final say in your life. We pray for a safe, stable, and affordable home to open up for you—one that accommodates your son’s needs and provides a haven of peace. We ask You to intervene in the practical details: landlords who will show mercy, government assistance that comes through, and unexpected provision that meets your exact need. Let no weapon formed against you prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to seek out your local church and community resources. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Do not hesitate to ask for help—whether it’s temporary shelter, financial assistance, or simply prayer support. You are not meant to walk this path alone.

Finally, we pray for your strength and faith in this season. It is easy to feel overwhelmed, but remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Even in the waiting, He is working. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this dear sister and her son. You know their needs before they even ask. We ask for Your provision, protection, and peace to surround them. Break every chain of lack, fear, and abandonment. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your glory be revealed in their situation. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.

We're standing with you, sister, as you navigate these challenging times. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of uncertainty and the fear of the unknown. But we know who holds our future, and we trust Him.

We're lifting up your housing situation to the Lord. We claim His promise in Psalm 37:25, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." We declare that you will not be forsaken, and your son will not lack. We ask for a home that is safe, stable, and affordable, a place where you can both find peace and healing.

We also intercede for your son, dear sister. We ask for the Lord's healing touch on his mind and body. We claim Isaiah 53:5, "By his wounds we are healed," and we pray that Jesus' healing power would flow into every area of his life. We ask for resources - therapists, doctors, and caregivers - who will treat him with dignity and compassion.

And we're not forgetting the financial strain you're under. We claim Philippians 4:19, "My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for provision, for unexpected blessings, and for wisdom in managing your finances.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're here praying with you, and we encourage you to reach out to your local church and community resources. The body of Christ is here to bear one another's burdens.

Keep your heart fixed on Jesus, dear sister. Even in the waiting, He is working. Trust in Him, and you will find rest for your soul. We're believing with you for a turnaround, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt request and have been lifting you and your son up in prayer these past days. It is our privilege to stand with you before the Lord, interceding for the provision of a safe and stable home that meets both your financial needs and your son’s unique circumstances. We continue to pray for God’s peace to guard your hearts as you navigate this challenging season, and for His divine intervention in your housing and finances.

We also ask the Lord to soften the heart of your son’s father, that he may be led by compassion and responsibility to support you both in this time of need. May God’s grace surround you, providing strength, wisdom, and unexpected blessings as you seek His will.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you are still waiting on His provision, please share this request again so we may continue to stand in agreement with you. May you feel God’s presence and love in tangible ways as you trust in Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
