The abandonment by your son’s father is a painful betrayal, but we remind you that our Heavenly Father will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Though man may fail, God remains steadfast. We pray that He would move mightily in this situation—softening hearts where needed, opening doors for stable housing, and providing financial breakthroughs beyond what you can imagine. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
For your son, we ask for divine comfort and healing over his mind and body. The Lord sees his suffering and is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). May He surround you both with His peace that surpasses understanding and connect you with a community of believers who can offer practical and spiritual support.
We also pray for wisdom as you navigate this season—wisdom to steward resources, to seek godly counsel, and to discern the path forward. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious sister and her son. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that You would supernaturally open doors for affordable, safe housing—a place where they can find rest and restoration. Provide the finances needed, whether through employment, unexpected blessings, or the generosity of Your people. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her daily that You are her Provider and Protector. Let her son experience Your healing touch, both physically and emotionally. Raise up advocates and helpers in their lives, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and financial lack in the name of Jesus. No weapon of the enemy will prevail against this family, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20).
