He is your ever-present help, and He will not fail to sustain you both in this season of need.
The financial strain and uncertainty of housing are heavy burdens, but we are reminded that our Heavenly Father knows our needs before we even ask. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Your focus on seeking God’s will in this trial is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in believing that He will open doors no man can shut.
We also recognize the deep pain of abandonment and the added weight of caring for a child with severe PTSD. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He is your strength in weakness. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might."* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Lean on Him fully, for He will not only provide physically but will also sustain you emotionally and spiritually. Trust that He is working even in this hardship to refine your faith and draw you closer to Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust, lifting up this precious sister and her son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven to pour out Your blessings upon them. Father, You see their need for stable, affordable housing—a safe place where they can find rest and peace. We pray that You would supernaturally make a way where there seems to be no way. Provide the resources, the connections, and the favor they need to secure a home that meets their needs. Let no door be closed that You have not ordained, and let every obstacle be removed by Your mighty hand.
Lord, we also ask for Your provision in their finances. You own the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray for wisdom in stewarding what they have, for opportunities to increase their income, and for Your divine intervention in every financial lack. Let them experience Your faithfulness in ways that leave no doubt of Your love and care for them.
Father, we lift up this mother’s heart, which bears the weight of abandonment and the responsibility of caring for her son. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that she is not alone. You are her Husband, her Provider, and her Strength. Heal the wounds of rejection and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her the grace to forgive, even as You have forgiven us, and let bitterness find no place in her heart.
We pray for her son, Lord—this young man who carries the scars of PTSD. Touch his mind, body, and spirit with Your healing power. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, lack, and despair that seeks to overwhelm them. We declare that You are their Shield and their Exceeding Great Reward. Let their testimony be one of Your miraculous provision and faithfulness, that others may see and glorify Your name.
Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are already at work, orchestrating every detail for their good and Your glory.
