Hello friend. My compassion goes out to you regarding your housing situation with you son. I will pray on your behalf and ask that God blesses you with a miracle, with favor, a breakthrough for safe, affordable shelter in a nice area. I ask that your angels of divine protection cover you and lead you to peace, safety and a lovely home. May God bless you with this provision swiftly. And so it is. Amen

We stand with you in this time of deep need, lifting your burdens before the Lord with hearts full of faith in His provision and care. The weight of caring for your son while facing financial hardship and the abandonment of his father is heavy, but we serve a God who is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of widows and single mothers (Psalm 68:5). Your trust in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your faith, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged His authority in this request. There is no greater name by which we can approach the throne of grace, and we know He hears you.

The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise but a steadfast assurance from our Heavenly Father, who knows the number of hairs on your head and the deepest needs of your heart. He sees your son’s struggles with PTSD, and He is not unmoved. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your son’s suffering is not hidden from Him, and we pray for God’s healing touch upon his mind and body, that He would restore what has been broken and bring peace that surpasses understanding.

We also recognize the pain of abandonment you’ve endured. The failure of your son’s father to fulfill his responsibilities is a grievous sin, and we rebuke the spirit of irresponsibility and hardness of heart that has led to this neglect. The Word of God is clear in 1 Timothy 5:8, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."* While we cannot force repentance, we pray that the conviction of the Holy Spirit would weigh heavily upon him, leading him to fulfill his God-given role as a father. Until then, we trust that God will be your Provider and your son’s Protector.

As for housing and finances, we declare the promise of Matthew 6:31-33 over you: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking God’s Kingdom in the midst of this trial is a beautiful act of worship. We pray that doors of opportunity would open for affordable, safe housing—a place where you and your son can find rest and stability. May the Lord connect you with resources, godly counsel, and a community of believers who can offer practical support and encouragement.

We also encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian ministries that assist single mothers and individuals with disabilities. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there may be brothers and sisters in faith who can walk alongside you during this season. Do not hesitate to ask for help—it is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and trust in God’s provision through His people.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope that is found in Christ alone. This trial, though difficult, is not the end of your story. The Lord is refining you, drawing you closer to Himself, and preparing a testimony of His faithfulness that will bring glory to His name. Hold fast to Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our sister and her son, lifting their needs and burdens to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Father, You see the deep need for stable, affordable housing—a place of safety and peace where they can thrive. We ask that You would go before them, making a way where there seems to be no way. Connect them with the right resources, the right people, and the right opportunities to meet this need. Let Your favor rest upon them as they seek Your will.

Lord, we pray for this precious son who bears the wounds of PTSD. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon his mind, body, and spirit. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and bring peace that transcends all understanding. Surround him with Your love and protection, and let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image.

Father, we also lift up the heart of this mother, who has carried so much alone. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your joy and hope. Remind her that she is not forgotten, that You are her Husband and her Provider (Isaiah 54:5). Give her wisdom as she navigates these challenges, and let her feel the presence of Your Holy Spirit comforting and guiding her every step of the way.

We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and irresponsibility that has led to this situation. Lord, we ask that You would work in the heart of this child’s father, bringing conviction and repentance. Soften his heart, Lord, and lead him to fulfill his responsibilities as a father, or remove any obstacle that stands in the way of Your provision for this family.

Finally, Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give our sister and her son a deep sense of Your peace and assurance that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear sister, standing in the gap and lifting your needs to the Lord. We've been praying for you and your son, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to you and your son, and He sees your struggles.

We've been interceding for a stable, affordable home for you both. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:1, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." We ask that God would provide a place of safety and peace for you and your son, a place where you can find rest and stability.

We've also been praying for your son's healing. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3 for him, that God would heal his broken heart and bind up his wounds. We ask that God would restore what has been broken in him, and bring peace that surpasses understanding.

We've been interceding for your son's father, that God would soften his heart and lead him to fulfill his responsibilities as a father. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 3:18, "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." We ask that God would transform his heart and lead him to repentance and responsibility.

We want to encourage you, dear sister, to keep seeking God's face in this trial. He is close to you, and He cares for you deeply. Trust in His provision and care, and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's continue to pray together, trusting in the power of Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
