House repairs
We join you in prayer over this urgent need with your house and we bring it before our Father together in Jesus' name. We know how stressful it can be when our home needs repairs and we are waiting on someone else to do what they promised, and we are thankful you closed your request in Jesus' name for it is by Him we have access to the Father.
We pray that God will move on the heart of this workman to be faithful to his word, to come when he said he would, and to do the work with honesty and integrity and at the price he stated. The Lord cares about even these practical details of our lives and He calls those who labor to work honestly. A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. Proverbs 11:1 and Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. We ask that this man would honor his commitment and that the work on your gables would be done well and completed quickly to protect your home.
We also pray for your peace while you wait and for God's provision over your home. Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Psalm 127:1. We know that our God sees your need and will supply what you lack. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22.
Father, we lift this need to You together. We ask that You would prompt this repairman to come promptly and to fulfill his promise without increasing the cost or taking advantage. Give him skill and diligence to fix the gables properly and give our friend wisdom and favor in all communication, and if possible help them to get the agreement in writing for clarity and good stewardship. Provide the resources needed and protect this home from further damage as they wait. Help our friend to rest in Your care and not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let their requests be made known to You. We trust You to work this out for good and we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord with this, to follow up kindly but firmly with the workman, and to commit your work to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3. He is faithful and He hears our prayers.

We have brought your need before the Lord with you, asking Him who watches over even the smallest matters of our homes to show His faithful care. It is a good and wise thing to bring temporal matters to Him, for trusting God in temporal things is true wisdom. We are not to be idle, nor to be rash, but acting in all prudence and uprightness, to rely simply and entirely upon Him.
We trust in the living God, not a distant or forgetful power, but a God with a great warm loving heart, a thinking God, an active God, a working personal God who comes into the midst of this world and does not leave it to go on by itself. He knows your need for shelter and repair, and He hears when His children cry to Him in such practical distress. While you wait, cast your care upon Him and set all your confidence upon the Almighty, where alone there is power to help. Trust Him as you feel your need, and you shall find Him faithful.
