Horrible treatment

Just Received Horrible treatment from dr’s office, they don’t know anything and meanwhile my life is on the line and getting strange headaches can barely speak so horse now, the insurance not approving the Ent dr. Jesus prayers please their mng calls back. Lord please heal help favor and bring down this heat so we can rest please. Amen

We hear your cry and we join with you in prayer together before our Father in Jesus' name, for He is our healer and our help in times of distress. We are so sorry for the horrible treatment you have received and the fear and frustration of dealing with headaches, hoarseness where you can barely speak, and the worry when your life feels on the line while waiting for an ENT and for insurance approval. The Lord sees you and He cares deeply about your suffering.

We take comfort that He heals all our diseases as it is written, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3. And His promise remains, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He also heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to this truth that God is not distant from our afflictions.

We also understand the added burden of the heat and the inability to rest, and the anxiety of waiting for a manager to call back. We encourage you to cast your cares on Him and not be overcome by anxiety, for it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. And we remember His faithful promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

While we pray for divine healing, we also encourage you to continue to advocate for yourself diligently. Please do not delay seeking urgent care if you are having severe headaches and difficulty speaking and feel your life is on the line, go to an emergency room if needed rather than waiting for an approval. Keep a written record of calls, ask for a patient advocate or nurse case manager through your insurance, ask the doctor's office to request a peer to peer review or an expedited appeal, and have someone you trust help you make these calls if speaking is difficult. We also pray for relief from the heat so you can find rest, as Jesus invites us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear one who is suffering. Lord, You know the strange headaches, the hoarseness and difficulty speaking, and the fear that has come with this. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch this body with Your healing hand, ease the pain in the head and throat, restore the voice, and bring complete health according to Your will. Lord, we ask for favor with the doctor's office and with the insurance company, that the manager would call back quickly, that hearts would be softened, that the approval for the ENT would be granted without further delay, and that the right treatment would be provided promptly. Father, please bring down the heat, provide coolness and comfort, and grant restful sleep and peace. Guard this precious one from discouragement and bitterness over the poor treatment, and help them to feel Your presence and strength sustaining them. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. We trust You as our great Physician and our refuge. We were so sorry to read what you have been going through. Being brushed off when you are dealing with strange headaches, losing your voice, and feeling like your health is on the line is exhausting and frightening, and then to have the insurance delay and the heat making it harder to rest just adds to the strain. We are praying for you.

When an office is not responding and you are waiting for a manager to call back, it can help to have another person come alongside you to advocate. If you have a trusted family member, friend, or pastor, consider asking them to help you keep a simple written log of who you spoke with, when you called, and what was said, and to make a follow up call with you or on your behalf. You can also ask the office directly what the next step is to appeal the insurance decision for the ENT, and whether there is a patient advocate or care coordinator who can help move the referral forward.

With the headaches and hoarseness you described and how hard it is to speak, please try to be seen promptly by a medical professional for care alongside our prayers, and if symptoms worsen seek care right away.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You see the pain, the worry, and the weariness from not being heard. Please bring healing and relief, grant favor with the doctor's office and insurance, and provide wisdom for the next steps. Ease the heat and give deep rest tonight. Guide the doctors to help well. Your cry in this painful and wearying trial has been heard and brought before the Lord with deep sympathy. To be in bodily distress with strange headaches and a voice that can scarcely speak, to feel your life is on the line, and then to meet with cold treatment and closed doors at the doctors office and delay from the insurance is a heavy burden indeed, and the oppressive heat which will not let you rest makes it heavier still.

We would point you to the rest which our Lord Jesus gives. He says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. It is a present rest, rest now, not only after this trouble is past, and it is a perfect rest because it comes through His finished work. Justice was satisfied in Jesus who made full atonement for sin, and through faith in Him the soul finds rest even while the body is afflicted. There is also a rest you find as you learn of Him and are made like Him, a deep and abiding rest which you go on to find more and more as you walk with Him. He is the everlasting God who is our refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. At home we may let our hearts loose upon Him, for He keeps our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

We are reminded too that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves have healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature new. When we feel what sin is and what sickness is, we cannot rest under the condemnation, but when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together in His hand. He cares for bodily diseases which are too painful to let us slumber, and He alone can give the true healing which reaches both soul and body. Trust and you shall rest.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord, our refuge and our healer, look in mercy upon this suffering one. Thou knowest the pain of these headaches, the hoarseness that hinders speech, and the fear that life itself seems in peril. Lay Thy healing hand upon this body and ease what man cannot ease. We ask for Thy favor where favor is needed, that the manager may call back speedily, that the insurance may approve what is needed, and that the way may be opened to the ENT physician and to right care. In Thy providence thrust out the hindrances that stand in the way and make the path plain. Bring down the oppressive heat, we pray Thee, and grant quiet, coolness and sleep, that the body may be refreshed and the spirit may find rest. Above all, give faith to rest wholly upon Christ who has borne our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and let Thy peace which passeth all understanding keep heart and mind through Him. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus our only Saviour. Amen.
