Hope to get some sleep

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying. The lack of sleep, the effect of the medicines that keep you awake, the appointments you must keep, the hard heat, and the confusion about who to trust with scammers around would weigh on anyone. And then to be blocked for simply sharing hope in Jesus, and to fear being blocked again for doing the right thing in reporting what was wrong, adds another layer of hurt.

Please hear that God sees all of this and cares about each part. There is one God and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. He said He is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. That means you have direct access to God through Jesus and His blood shed for the remission of sins. You do not come through another priest or another way. You can come boldly and let your needs be known because Jesus has made the way. He has already borne our pain and our curse, for it is written cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree, and Christ became a curse for us to provide salvation. So you can bring your weariness and your sleeplessness to Him honestly, asking forgiveness for any foolish thought and thanking Him that He understands and carries what you cannot.

Scripture speaks of rest in a deeper way. Our rest is not in a day or a rule but in Jesus and His finished work. When you cannot sleep, you can still rest in Him, trusting that He is at work even when your body is weak. Ask Him for real sleep, for grace to get through the heat, for strength for each appointment, and for clear wisdom to discern who is truthful and who is trying to deceive. Resist the enemy in the name of Jesus, for the Bible says if you resist him he will flee from you, and keep a safe distance from his schemes by staying close to Christ. He has already spoiled the powers that are against us, and though the enemy still works in this world, he is defeated.

It hurts when you share your faith in Jesus and people respond with rejection or block you. Try not to take that personally as if it is about your worth. When you suffer for sharing Jesus, you suffer for His sake and for His name. In that sense you are His servant, and what befalls you befalls you because you belong to Him. Jesus knew this kind of opposition. He was questioned and plotted against, yet He kept loving and ministering, and even a single open heart like the Samaritan woman became a door for many others to hear. Your faithful witness matters, even if some do not want to hear. The call is to be faithful to whatever God has given you to do, and to keep sharing Christ whenever you have opportunity. When Christ is preached, we can rejoice, and Jesus said blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, blessed are you when men revile you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for His sake. There is an exceeding and eternal weight of glory that far outweighs these present troubles.

God also calls His people to be separate from the world in heart and life, not to have fellowship with what is unclean, and to seek a clean heart before Him. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Ask Him to create that clean heart in you, to lead you in the everlasting way, and to help you walk in wisdom as you deal with scammers and those you are unsure about. He will be a Father to you and you are His child through faith in Christ, a joint heir with Jesus to the goodness of His kingdom.

May grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you now. May He give you sleep and restore your strength, protect you in the heat, guard you from deception and give you discernment to know who to trust, and keep your heart encouraged as you continue to share Jesus with love and compassion. May your life bring glory to Christ alone, not seeking anything for yourself but that He would be honored.

Father, thank You for Your Word and for the privilege of prayer through the blood of Jesus. You know this dear one's needs, the sleepless nights, the appointments, the heat, the fear of being deceived and the pain of being rejected for sharing Jesus. Give rest, protection, wisdom and peace. Help them to keep sharing Christ with grace, to not grow weary, and to find their rest and hope in Your finished work. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift up your need for restful sleep and for relief from the natural meds that keep you up through the morning hours and for strength for your appointments. We have also prayed for protection and endurance in the unbearable heat and for protection from scammers when it is hard to know who to trust. We have prayed for favor regarding ### and that you will not be blocked as you share Jesus and as you report those who would do harm, even when ministers are not welcomed. We remember the promise in Psalm 127:2 that He gives sleep to His beloved and in Psalm 121:7 that the Lord will keep you from all harm. If your request was answered and you have received sleep and protection and favor, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name.
