I would like to take this time to say how happy I am for one of my prayer partners, he and his wife had a great weekend together went on a date and it looks as if things are looking up for him and his wife. Lets not stop praying for Mike and Missy because even though this trail is coming to an end for him, he knows it is still a long hard road ahead of him. God is good we know and see His amazing works everyday, its whether or not we choose to see them from behind our grief and pain soaked faces.
I would like all of you to stop what your doing today for a brief second and see all God is doing in our lives. He is making friendships that last a life time, He is bringing all of us together to learn from Him, He is fixing our lives and marriages, He is making a change in us and most importantly He gave us something no one else could, a second chance on life.
I am just as bad as anyone else when it comes to this, there are times I look at the situation (More times than I would like to admit) and I forget the promise. The promise is that God will not be far from you He is right next to you, its our pain and way of thinking that makes it so we cant feel Him. So take a minute close your eyes bask in His glorious presents, tell Him how much you love Him and just let Him be Him. It is so easy to lose the sight of Him when we look at what we are going threw, but yet it is also so easy to feel Him if we just let Him touch us.
James 4:8 "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you, cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded."
Remember He loves being in our presents as much as we love being in His when we seek Him. That love we have all be longing for from our wives is nothing compared to the love we are getting from our Father God.
Romans 8: 38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life; neither angels nor demons, neither present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is Christ Jesus our Lord."
So remember that next time you feel the thoughts overwhelm you of your situation, that there is nothing created on earth, under earth or in heaven that can separate how much God loves us. Then think about what He has created EVERYTHING and yes He did create Satan so not even Satan can separate Gods love for us, from us.
I am praying for each and every one of you and I have high hopes for us all.
