Hope and Salvation

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother ### and his big brother to you. Lord, we acknowledge the pain and sorrow that ###'s brother is experiencing as he has had to place his wife of 40 years in a Care Facility for dementia. We pray for your comfort and strength to surround him during this difficult time.
Lord, we ask that you would pour out your healing touch upon his heart and mind. We pray against the deep depression that he is facing and ask that you would replace it with your peace and joy. Help him to find hope in you, knowing that you are with him every step of the way.
Father, we also lift up his end-of-life preparations. We pray that you would guide him in making wise decisions and grant him the assurance that you are in control. Give him the strength to face each day with courage and trust in your perfect plan.
Lord, we specifically pray against any thoughts of self-harm or suicide that may be troubling him. We rebuke the enemy's lies and schemes, and we declare your victory and life over him. Surround him with loving and supportive people who can provide the encouragement and help that he needs.
We claim your promise in Psalm 34:17-18, which says, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that you are near to him in his pain and that you will deliver him from this darkness.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a breakthrough in his emotional and mental well-being. May he experience your peace that surpasses all understanding and find comfort in your loving presence. We ask all these things according to your will, trusting in your faithfulness and love.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
