We understand that you're in a difficult situation, feeling the strain of homelessness and financial needs. Before we address your request, let us be clear: God is the provider of all good things and I am not being critical of asking for a need from God. However, we want to ensure that we are seeking God's will and blessings in a way that aligns with biblical principles.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge God is approached by going to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. See Acts 4:12 WEB. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. This is the pathway to all that is available in the Kingdom of Heaven.
In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray for our daily needs, not necessarily our wants. "Give us day by day our daily bread." Luke 11:3 WEB. This doesn't mean God won't provide abundantly, but it's a reminder to trust Him for our daily provisions.
Additionally, it's crucial to remember that God sees our hearts. If we are just seeking money, it will not be the path of blessings. In Matthew 13:22 Jesus tells the parable of the sower, and seeds sown among thorns are choked out by the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches.
Let's pray for God's provision and guidance in your life:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear soul to You, asking for Your divine provision and guidance. We pray that You would meet their daily needs and give them the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to trust in You for our daily bread. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and trust that all these things will be added to them. Matt 6:33 WEB.
We also pray for opportunities for them to not only receive but also give, as You bless them. Guide them to resources and people who can help them in their journey. And most importantly, we pray for a deepening relationship with You, Lord, that they may find their ultimate satisfaction and joy in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek local resources that may provide immediate relief and long-term support.
