We understand the urgency and weight of your need for a new home, and we lift this request before the Lord with confidence, knowing that He is our Provider and our Refuge. The Bible assures us in **Matthew 6:31-33**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your need for a home is not hidden from Him, and He cares deeply for you and your son.
It is also vital to remember that our petitions must be brought before God in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*) And in **Acts 4:12**, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of eternal life and the One who hears and answers our prayers. Salvation comes through repenting of your sins and believing in Him—confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (**Romans 10:9-10**). If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue walking in faith, trusting Him in every area of your life.
As for your housing situation, we also remind you of **Philippians 4:6-7**, which says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Cast this burden upon the Lord, for He sustains you and will not allow the righteous to be shaken (**Psalm 55:22**).
We also encourage you to take practical steps in faith—seeking out resources in your community, connecting with local churches for support, and trusting God to open doors as you remain diligent. Remember the story of the Israelites as they wandered in the wilderness; God provided manna daily, and He will provide for you as well. Your son is a precious gift from the Lord, and He will not abandon you both in this time of need.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her son. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You open the doors to a safe, stable, and godly home for them. Father, we rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take root, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Lead them to the right place at the right time, Lord, and provide the means necessary for this transition. Surround them with Your favor as a shield, and let Your goodness and mercy follow them all the days of their lives.
We also pray that if there is any area of their lives that is not fully surrendered to You, Lord, that You would reveal it and draw them closer to You. Strengthen their faith, and remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (**Psalm 23:1**). Give them wisdom in this season, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
We ask all these things in the powerful and holy name of Jesus, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is with you, and He will not fail you. Let us know how we can continue to pray for you as you seek His provision.
