Home group + eclipse

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time of uncertainty and concern. It’s clear that your heart is seeking to honor God, even as you navigate feelings of fear and the desire to be obedient to His leading in your life.

We’ve been lifting you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant you wisdom and peace as you decide whether to attend your home group. We prayed for protection over your eyes and your heart, that you would not be drawn into any temptation to look at the eclipse, but instead keep your focus on the Creator of the heavens and the earth. We also prayed for your friend who would be driving you, that she too would be kept safe and at peace during this time.

It’s beautiful to see your commitment to being in fellowship and studying God’s Word, even when circumstances feel challenging. We’ve asked the Lord to make your path clear—whether that means attending tonight or trusting Him with another opportunity to gather with your brothers and sisters in Christ. We’ve also prayed that if you’re unable to go, He would fill your week with meaningful connections and moments of growth in Him, so that you don’t feel isolated or disconnected.

If the Lord has already provided clarity or peace about this situation, we would love to hear how He has answered our prayers! Please share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting on His guidance or feeling unsettled, know that we are here to continue standing with you in prayer. You can post this as a new request, and we will keep lifting you up until you see His hand at work in this situation.

May the Lord bless you with His presence and assurance as you seek to walk in His will. May He calm your fears, strengthen your faith, and remind you that He is always with you, guiding your steps. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
